UFC officials today announced that Louis Gaudinot (5-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and John Lineker (19-5 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will meet at UFC on FOX 3. Verbal agreements are in place for the matchup, and bout agreements are expected to be finalized shortly. UFC on FOX 3 takes place May 5 at IZOD Center in East Rutherford, N.J. The main card airs on FOX, and prelims are expected to air on FUEL TV. He went 1-1 in the UFC and was released for making unfortunate comments about Evan Tanner, and general difficulty. Then he signed with Bellator and was released for posting really, really unfortunate things about President Obama on his MySpace. He tried a career in porn, which was shut down when he beat up more or less an entire room of people at a party attended by porn professionals. And he recently got out of a year in County for felony assault. "Dan Henderson's in a position right now where it looks like he wants to wait for Jon Jones," White said today. Earlier this month, White said Henderson (29-8 MMA, 5-2 UFC) turned down a fight with Antonio Rogerio Nogueira at UFC on FUEL 2. Henderson soon after defended his decision in an interview with Clinch Gear Radio, saying he thought it was undecided whether he or Rashad Evans would get the first crack at champ Jon Jones and that he didn't think a fight with Nogueira was interesting for the fans. Henderson also clarified that he would have taken the fight had it been three rounds instead of the five-round length currently in place for headlining fights.
