The loss was in the 2008 Finals. This is the 2009 Finals that happened more recently.

I suspect that this is the final. The loss you were thinking about happened a few months ago. Fedor is great, I've always been a heavy critic of his but he proved me wrong time and time again and impressed the hell out of me. I have been converted to a fan of his a while ago haha.

i don t think this is the final because Fedor lost the sambo championships for the first time in years very recently, so this is definitely not the final.

That was the final? Either the competition isn't too stiff, or Fedor is just that damn good. Probably the latter.
