Evolved and Educated, Marloes Coenen Ready for Cris Cyborg Rematch at Invicta FC 6
While it’s been seven months since her last fight, former Strikeforce women’s 145-pound champion Marloes “Rumina” Coenen is not worried about the layoff.
“My entire career has been time off over and over again. It was always hard for me to get fights, so for me it’s no problem,” Coenen told MMAWeekly.com.
“I’ve been setting up my own gym in Amsterdam and then training in the East Netherlands. In preparation for this fight, I stayed with my parents for weeks so I could be focused and train a lot with my time.”

Tyrone Spong-Angel DeAnda Added to WSOF 4 Bill
World Series of Fighting President Ray Sefo will compete for the first time in more than two years when the former kickboxing standout meets fellow heavyweight Dave Huckaba on Aug. 10 at WSOF 4.
“This will be, without a doubt, our finest event to date in terms of the talent lined up from top to bottom,” Sefo stated in an official release. “As a promoter, I am extremely proud of this fight card.”
In addition to Sefo’s clash with Huckaba, the event will also see kickboxing ace Tyrone Spong do battle with Angel DeAnda at 205 pounds, while UFC veteran Tyson Griffin locks horns with ex-Strikeforce talent Gesias Cavalcante at lightweight.
