Manager confirms Fedor return, expects top 10 opponent
On Tuesday rumors surfaced that the greatest heavyweight in mixed martial arts history, The Lasst Emperor, Fedor Emelianko was returning. Now it was been confirmed, by Fedor's longtime manager Vadim Finkelchtein.
"It was unexpected," said Vadim to Karim Zidan for BloodyElbow.com. "I was trying to convince Fedor to come back for about year or two, but then gave up this idea. And about a week or two ago he told me he is thinking about coming back to sport. I am happy about that."

Fedor Emelianenko seemed to have closed the book on his storied MMA career when he announced his retirement in 2012. Three years later though, and the legendary PRIDE champion has decided to write a new chapter as he will be coming back to active mixed martial arts competition.

Alexa Grasso will challenge Livia Renata Souza for the Invicta FC strawweight title in the main event of Invicta FC 14 on Sept. 12 in Kansas City, it was announced Thursday night at Invicta 13.
Grasso (7-0) has been mentioned many times by White, the UFC president, as one of the fighters he would most like to sign. The popular Mexican fighter is still under contract with Invicta and has said she would like to win Invicta gold before going to the UFC. Grasso, 21, is coming off a unanimous decision win over Mizuki Inoue at Invicta FC 11 in February.

LAS VEGAS – The Invicta FC 13 weigh-in results are in the books, and all the fighters on Thursday’s card – including six in TITLE fights – made weight without issue.
Chief among them was featherweight champion Cristiane Justino (13-1), who fights challenger Faith Van Duin (5-1) in the main event. Both fighters came in under the 145-pound title fight maximum. “Cyborg” Justino was 144.6 POUNDS, while Van Duin was 144.9.

Boylan obtains Cage Warriors brand, eyes new shows

WSOF re-signs champs David Branch, Justin Gaethje and Marlon Moraes
WSOF has re-signed three of its champions to exclusive multi-year deals, officials today announced.
The signings include middleweight champion David Branch (16-3), lightweight titleholder Justin Gaethje (14-0) and bantamweight champ Marlon Moraes (14-4-1), who are a combined 20-0 in the WSOF cage.
Terms of the deals weren’t disclosed.
