MMA fighter may be charged in home invasion death
The 27-year-old fighter survived a home invasion attack by four alleged gang members that left one man dead, another hospitalized and has so far resulted in four arrests. Now Torrez is preparing his legal defence in case he is also charged.

Roy Jones Jr. now interested in boxing Nick Diaz
The former boxing champion, who attended UFC 168 in Las Vegas Saturday night, told MMAFighting.com that his top choice has always been to box Silva but now that that's off the table, he's very interested in boxing Nick Diaz. Jones Jr. said he told UFC president Dana White about his desire to box Diaz, and White told him he'd think about it. Given Diaz's contract with the UFC, White would obviously have to be on board with the idea for the fight to happen...

Coroner: Del Rosario’s death due to natural causes; Cocaine, THC and Opiates found in system
UFC heavyweight Shane del Rosario‘s death was due to natural causes, according to medical examiners. A death certificate issued Wednesday by the Orange County (Calif.) coroner’s office said the 30-year-old fighter suffered brain damage from a lack of oxygen to the brain, an abnormal heart rhythm commonly associated with heart attacks and a congenital heart disorder.

Paul Walker awarded BJJ black belt
Paul Walker, star of The Fast and The Furious, who died recently, was posthumously awarded his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In addition to his acting credits and charity work, Walker was an avid BJJ student, reaching the rank of brown belt before hsi death. His teacher, Ricardo Franjinha Miller, gave Walker’s father a black belt in the actor’s honor.

MFC's Breast Cancer Awareness Night!
Maximum Fighting Championship had a "breast cancer awareness" night at MFC 38 - Behind Enemy Lines. The fighters' gloves were all pink, and the 3rd rope of the MFC ring was also the breast cancer supporters' choice color. Smilen Sam Alvey is even auctioning off his gloves from his Successful Middleweight Title bout, all proceeds are going to Breast Cancer Foundations.
