Jacare fighting in Dream 2!
"Throwdown: When is your next MMA fight & with what organization? Jacare: April 29, 2008 for DREAM 2 in Japan 185lbs weight." He's most likely part of the GP, well hopefully he's part of the GP. I can see him going pretty far, no one can stop him on the ground that's for sure.
Minowa to Fight at Dream, Possible Opponent named tomarrow at Weight Ins
Ikuhisa Minowa still doesn't have an opponent, but that will more than likely change tomorrow at the official news conference and weigh-in.
Since I've been getting PM's
It's in the grey box at the bottom of the page. It says that if Cro Cop beats Mizuno this saturday that he very well could fight Jerome Le Banner at Dream 5 under mma rules(who are we kidding it would be a kickboxing match). This would be a great fight on many levels, we would see where Cro Cop's at mentally, and it's a perfect fight for him. There is talk about Fedor but I have been told not to worry about those rumors. This would be incredible for guys like me and Mastadon.
Cro Cop vs Fedor a possibility
Now it is in Croatian but heres a translation: Sasahara:"I think this fight won't be easy for Mirko because Mizuno has nothing to lose and he will give best he can. "In case Mirko wins we'll try to match up CC vs FEDOR" Mizuno:"I would like to exchange with him, but i know i'll have to put him down to parter if I wonna win Mirko is excelent fighter, but if he relaxes to much i think i have chance." Keep er clean guys.
Mark Hunt to Return to MMA
Mark Hunt has had an interview with Rogue Magazine. In it he explains why he is taking the K-1 fight with Schilt and where his future is. Seems the K-1 fight is a once of return to K-1, after that there will be MMA fights. Since K-1 and DREAM are closely related, DREAM will be his likely home. When asked about his first MMA fight, his answer was May 8. There is no DREAM event on that date... But there is one May 11. We have to wait and see what happens. Either way, Mark Hunt is on his way back to MMA!

Interview with Bas Boon
Hi Bas, it's a pleasure to talk to you. Let's make a brief introduction for our readers. How did you get involved in martial arts? Bas Boon: When I was 15 years old I started taekwondo, later I took up full contact kickboxing and kicking 8 times above the waist. What were the key moments that gave such a boost to Golden Glory, making it the leading fight team in Europe, next to Red Devil? Bas: Please do not compare Red Devil with Golden Glory. Gambaryan was beaten by Fatih (Kocamis) and Zentsov was beaten by Chalid (Arrab) and Alistair (Overeem). This was all before Fedor was introduced to Red Devil by me. Golden Glory started at 2H2H number 2, where all GG fighters were victorious and many journalist therefore wrote about Golden Glory.

Cro Cop Has opponent!
A little over an hour ago I was contacted by DREAM officials. They informed me that my opponent on March 15 will be Yoshihiro Nakao from Japan. It was very important for me to fight as soon as possible and I'm happy that DREAM was able to find the opponent for me. For those of you who don't know, Nakao is the guy who kissed Herring.
NEW Cro Cop article.
Any crap like whats been going on in the other threads and I won't be posting anymore news.
More on Mirko’s Departure: Emelianenko vs. Cro Cop II Now Possible
During today’s press conference to announce that Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic has left the UFC to fight for the new DREAM organization, the company’s executives announced that they had struck a deal with M-1 Global, which could mean a future bout between DREAM’s Filipovic and M-1 Global’s Fedor Emelianenko. The news comes from Yahoo! Sports, a content-partner site of MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). According to reporter Dave Meltzer, the two upstart organizations have signed a business deal — a move that could open the door for the promotions to share talent. Melzter said that Emelianenko (as well as free agent UFC hall-of-famer Royce Gracie) both appeared in videotaped messages saying they planned to compete for DREAM.
Kid Yamamoto's NYE Win Stands
After an investigation resulting from Rani Yahya's protest of his loss to Norifumi "Kid' Yamamoto on December 31, FEG, parent company of K-1 HERO'S, has announced that the result stands and Yamamoto keeps his win. Yahya contended that the stoppage was produced by illegal blows (soccer kicks), and should be grounds for a No Contest, or a disqualification.
Gesias “JZ” Calvancante vs. Shinya Aoki Set for March K-1 Show
The hotly anticipated Gesias “JZ” Calvancante (14-1-1) vs. Shinya Aoki (12-2) match-up — first promised to the world and then removed from a New Year’s Eve “Yarennoka!” card in Japan — has been reset for a March date in Japan. American Top Team General Manager Richie Guerrero confirmed the K-1 sanctioned fight during his appearance on Wednesday’s episode of TAGG Radio Although his opponent has not yet been named, fellow ATT fighter Denis Kang (27-9-1) is also scheduled to appear on that card, Guerrero said
No more Hero's. "Pride" and K-1 join forces.
Japanese sports newspaper Tokyo Sports reported that FEG might finish with the HERO'S series and start a new show in March. "From the March show on, I would like to see the entire Kakutougi world unite to do something very interesting." The report began with FEG head Sadaharu Tanikawa talking about a second "grand coalition" but since there is not going to be a second Yarennnoka! show, and FEG and ex-PRIDE people are going for a complete integration it’s basically about a new MMA show being started by FEG and that also means HERO'S could now be completely over

K-1 Fighters Get Ready for New Year's Eve
OSAKA, December 30, 2007 -- When Alfred Tennyson wrote "ring out the old, ring in the new," the English poet was referring to the pealing of church bells to mark the beginning of a new year. It is also a Japanese tradition to strike the temple bell on December 31, but these days Tennyson's phrase could just as easily be applied to the ringside bell at the Dynamite!! New Year's Eve fightsport extravaganza. Over the last five years, K-1 Premium Dynamite!! has become one of the most widely-watched television productions in Japan, with estimates of up to 30 million viewers. This is fightsport entertainment for the entire family, and tomorrow's lineup is designed for maximum appeal. The evening's 15 fights will feature wily veterans and wide-eyed teens; popular television "tarento" and foreign behemoths; and yes, more than a few match ups aimed at martial arts purists.

Fedor's NYE Opponent Moonlights As A Rapper
The following is an excerpt from an article posted on The Korea Times, seems they don't think much of Choi: Choi turned himself into a national joke last month by releasing a hip-hop album with model and wannabe pop star Kang Su-hui, although LeBanner would surely say he did well for a singer.
