Here is a Gif to judge for yourselves...
B.J. Penn's Camp Files Formal Complaint Over Vaseline on St. Pierre's Back Between Rounds
B.J. Penn's camp has filed a formal complaint with the Nevada State Athletic Commission over Vaseline that was allegedly rubbed on Georges St. Pierre's back between rounds one and two. UFC president Dana White said at the post-fight press conference that he was aware of the complaint, and said he personally witnessed members of the commission take the Vaseline away from GSP's camp and rebuke them in the Octagon between rounds.
"I saw the commission jump up there and flipping out," said Dana White. They said one of the guys was rubbing Vaseline on Georges' back in between rounds. It was one and two, I think."
"The guys from the athletic commission went up there and started screaming at them. Knocked the Vaseline and kicked the Vaseline out of the Octagon."
White added that "some Vaseline on a guy's back didn't change the outcome of that fight, but you don't do it," and said the blame should fall on the cornerman responsible and not GSP.
"If a guy was intentionally putting Vaseline on a guy's back, he should never corner a mixed martial arts fight again."
As for what becomes of the complaint now, White said it's out of his hands.
"Who knows. That's up to the commission."

UFC Quick Quote: Experience tells Matt Hughes BJ Penn should win at UFC 94
“This weekend is the GSP/BJ rematch, I’ve been doing a lot of interviews on this topic, since I’ve fought both of them (lost to both and beat them both). I think this fight comes down to a lot of things, I think GSP will have a slight wrestling advantage and I think BJ will have a submission advantage. GSP might be a little quicker with his punches; but I believe BJ has more power and has a stronger chin. If BJ shows up in good shape, I think he can get his hand raised at the end. If BJ doesn’t show up in good shape, then he might have some problems.”
– Former welterweight champion Matt Hughes share his prediction on the upcoming megafight between champions Georges St. Pierre and BJ Penn via Matt-Hughes.com. As Hughes points out, he has competed against both fighters, splitting the series with Penn and losing the last two to “Rush.” Hughes is set to take on Matt Serra at UFC 98 on May 23. St. Pierre and Penn will collide this Saturday, Jan. 31 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Affliction - DOR - Preview w/Guest Fighter Picks!
This weekend Affliction will host their second ever event, which as the first will also be headlined by undefeated heavyweight phenom Fedor Emelianenko. The former PRIDE champion and current WAMMA champion will face off against former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski.
The card will also feature PRIDE’s 2006 Open-Weight Grand Prix finalist Josh Barnett against the highly controversial striker Gilbert Yvel, as well as “Baby Fedor” Kiril Sidelnikov against former UFC heavyweight contender Paul Buentello, and late replacement Bobby Green against WCF veteran Dan Lauzon.
The main card, which will air live on pay-per-view, is rounded out with top ten middleweight Matt Lindland against Vitor Belfort and Strikeforce’s light heavyweight champion Renato “Babalu” Sobral against PRIDE and UFC veteran Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou. The HDNet-hosted preliminary card will feature PRIDE veteran Antonio Rogerio Nogueira against IFL champion Vladimir Matyushenko, L.C. Davis against Bao Quach (who fights as a late-notice replacement for Mark Hominick), and IFL welterweight champion Jay Hieron against Jason High.
Mike Reilly (Team Bison) – “There are two very different Andrei Arloski’s. One is really an average fighter who panics under pressure – the other is a stone cold killer with the hands of a top 10 pro boxer, the skills of a world class grappler, and the mind of a rapid Pitbull on crack who just found someone banging his wife on Christmas morning. This Andrei could be the best one the planet. This Andrei can drop any man, at anytime. His straight right is a king maker. There is only one Fedor. The quintessential Russian fighter. He can beat you with overwhelming forces. He can beat you with guile. And he can take a beating so server that it would kill a dozen lesser men. The saying goes that “Russians are born to bleed, but never die.” I foresee a long drawn out bloody civil war. This may be the fight that makes most of the world turn away as every vodka loving son of a bitch watches that much closer. In the end I see Fedor outlasting the Pitbull. Draining him and finishing him last in the fight as a non-Russian ref finally puts and end to the fight. However if the Pitbull lands that clean straight right we will see the last legend of the sport fall.”

I can wait around to fight one guy and let my career pass me by or I can get in there and do what I love to do: commit murder.

It was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed that time. It was the start of bigger things and it prepared me for the K1. I won my first big title there. The atmosphere, the fans and the events were great !
Jeff Monson Arrested, But Not For Graffiti
Things just got worse for MMA’s favorite anarchist, Jeff Monson. He was arrested this weekend in North Carolina on a charge unrelated to his malicious mischief trouble in Olympia, Washington. Now he’s in jail on suspicion of “assault on a female and injury to real property.” Girl troubles gone terribly wrong, in other words. How disappointing.

Mainstream Appeal of MMA Becomes Apparent At CES
The long hard road that leads to the mainstream acceptance of mixed martial arts has seemingly been becoming much easier of late, whether it be a Microsoft commercial featuring Rashad Evans or video game’s featuring Randy Couture and Gina Carrano, the sport is fast becoming acceptable where before it was once dismissed as just another extreme sport fad. While the use of MMA personalities to promote products and services is not as common as it is for other professional athletes, its acceptance has grown almost in lock step with the popularity of the sport itself, nowhere was this more apparent then 2009’s installment of the Consumer Electronics Trade show in Las Vegas this past weekend.
Fun and Games Part of the Plan for ‘King Mo'
He comes out to the ring with his four queens. He dances and tries to get the referee involved in his routine before his fights. He might be called arrogant, cocky and maybe even disrespectful. But if you ask him, that’s just who Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal is.
Ken Shamrock Vs Bo Cantrell @ Valentine's Day Massacre
TheGARV.com: Hey, Ken. This is quite a thrill for me. I’ve been following your career since UFC 1. I know you have a fight coming up next month. Who are you fighting?
Ken Shamrock: I’m fighting Bo Cantrell. The original plan was to fight John Marsh but he couldn’t get ready in time. So Bo Cantrell was another opponent that we also thought would be a good fight and he stepped up to the plate. So we’re going to step up and fight Bo Cantrell on February 13th in Fresno, California. And it’s going the Valentine’s Day massacre, Friday the 13th.
TheGARV.com: Sounds like a horror movie title
Ken Shamrock: (Laughs) Yep.
