Despite reports to the contrary, Brazilian heavyweight Antonio Silva has not yet been formally offered a fight with Golden Glory's Valentijn Overeem. But he's got an answer prepared if the call does come: Yes. Silva's manager Alex Davis today said that Strikeforce has yet to present a potential fight with Overeem for a Dec. 4 event in Missouri, but if the offer comes, his client is game. Overeem's brother, Alistair Overeem, posted news of the potential matchup on his official Twitter account on Friday. But Overeem's words made it seem the contest was official. "My brother Valentijn is fighting Antonio Silva on Dec. 4 for his Strikeforce debut," Alistair stated. "Great news." But Davis insists Silva has yet to receive word of Strikeforce's plans for the yet-to-be-announced "Henderson vs. Babalu" event.

Spencer Fisher wants Thiago Alves at 170
With Fisher putting on more muscle mass due to his weight lifting routine, moving back up to the UFC welterweight division is also something he isn’t opposed to and if he were to move, he knows who he’d like to fight. “I would go back up to 170-pounds. Some of those guys might be a little too big for me, but I'd like to fight Thiago Alves again. I'm sure he'd like to get that back and I'd have no problem going to 170-pounds to fight him. He's a big guy, but I'd like it again. Call me crazy. I'd fight anybody in the UFC. Where would I go if I win this fight? I don't know, but whoever is put in front of me, I'll fight. I'm going to keep on keeping on and hopefully everyone will be glad to see the old Spencer Fisher back.”

Datsik tries to immigrate to Norway, gets arrested, hands over a loaded gun to police and we have it all on video
There are very few people on this earth that can 'out crazy' Viacheslav Datsik and no, Mel Gibson is not one of them. If there was some magical tree that produced little badass fruit that soccer kicked everyone in the groin upon sight, that tree would be named after Viacheslav Datsik. By now you're familiar with Datsik's arrest in St. Petersburg, Russia after he knocked off a chain of cell phone stores, his recent escape from a mental institution by ripping down the gates with his bare hands, the hype video he cut of himself training for his return to MMA and his former psychiatrist confirming that he is indeed completely out of his mind. Today, the nuttiness that is Datsik has elevated to a new realm of sheer 'WTFness'.
