It was recently announced that Fabricio Werdum's first title defense would be a rematch with the man he took the belt from, Cain Velasquez.
And despite dominating Cain Velasquez and submitting him, UFC champion Fabricio Werdum opened as a slight underdog in the sports books.
According to BestFightOdds.com, Fabricio Werdum opened as the underdog at +124 and Velasquez as the favorite at -130.

Bellator Signs Wrestling Standout Tyrell Fortune To Multi-Fight Deal
Bellator MMA announced on Wednesday the signing of highly sought after wrestling prospect Tyrell Fortune to an exclusive, multi-fight contract.
The 25-year-old’s focus is currently set on the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, which he will attempt to qualify for during Olympic Trials next April. Regardless of whether or not he makes the team, Fortune hopes to have his first heavyweight mixed martial arts contest in early 2016.
The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale will be in Las Vegas (Lauzon vs Dunham)
Conor McGregor and Urijah Faber are currently coaching teams of fighters on the reality show, which is filming in Las Vegas, but they will not fight each other at the end of the season. The winner of the season will be determined on the Dec. 11 card.
Two fights have been agreed to for the card, the Review-Journal has learned.
A lightweight bout between Joe Lauzon and Las Vegan Evan Dunham will be featured. Also, Mike Pierce will take on Ryan LaFlare in a welterweight bout.
