Renato “Babalu” Sobral Signs With Strikeforce

Ultimate Fighter 6, Episode 2 Rating Drops Quite A Bit
(prowrestling.com) The Ultimate Fighter 6, episode two UFC reality show which aired on Spike TV this past Wednesday, September 26, 2007 scored a final cable rating of 1.0, according to Nielsen Media Research.
That is a huge drop off from the premiere episode the week prior, which drew a 1.5 - large in part due to the live Ultimate Fight Night lead-in.

Fedor talks UFC, Randy Couture

Of course, to be honest, I would not want to fight him because I really admire this fighter, and we could have become friends. Oh well, a fight is a fight, and if they put us against each other, . Keith Jardine: ‘More excited’ to beat Griffin than Liddell
(msn.foxsports.com) “I think (beating) Forrest [Griffin], I was a lot more excited. It was a knockout finish. After this fight [with Chuck Liddell], I wasn’t running around. I was physically exhausted.”
– Keith Jardine talks about his split-decision win over former light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell at UFC 76: “Knockout” on September 22. “The Dean of Mean” also mentions that he wants a crack at the current 205-pound titleholder, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, in early 2008. And if he can’t get that bout he’ll rematch Houston Alexander because “that fight should happen.”

Din Thomas Recovering, Wants Rematch With Kenny Florian
(mmajunkie.com) In the mean time, “The Ultimate Fighter 4” cast member and nine-year MMA veteran has already begin the campaign for a rematch with Florian. Their main-event bout ended prematurely when Thomas shot for a takedown and suffered an injury as cartilage broke off and lodged in the fighter’s knee, causing the immobility.
Florian ultimately finished the fight with a rear-naked choke at 4:31 of the first round.
On Tuesday MMAjunkie.com reported that Florian, who had fought for the third time in just fives months, plans to take some time off and won’t compete again in 2007.

Chuck Liddell not Retiring

“Shogun” Entered UFC 76 Fight With Knee Damage; Out Until Early 2008
