JONES OUT, SILVA SET TO FACE SONNEN AT UFC 159
Jon Jones injured, out indefinitely, Chael Sonnen will now fight Anderson Silva for the UFC Interim Light Heavyweight Championship at UFC 159. Anderson Silva is one more win away from the biggest super fight in Mixed Martial Arts history. All Silva (33-4) has to do is beat his rival, Chael Sonnen (27-12-1) one more time. If Silva can accomplish what he has done twice already he will hold two UFC Championships in two different weight classes. If he can do that a Championship Unification fight with Jon Jones (17-1) is inevitable.

Bellator 94 Live Broadcast Produces Low TV Ratings, but Replay Bolsters Bottom Line
Bellator 94 on Thursday featured two Season 8 tournament finals, but that failed to give the event any punch in the TV ratings department. Bellator 94 drew just 713,000 viewers, the second lowest total of the season, according to MMAWeekly.com industry sources. Bellator’s Season 8 has still been a TV ratings success for the promotion, averaging 782,000 viewers per event, well above what the promotion has achieved in prior seasons on other networks. One FC Snaps Up UFC Vet Kamal Shalorus
UFC and WEC veteran Kamal Shalorus is headed to the Philippines to fight for One FC. Shalorus recently posted his signing to One FC on his Facebook page. MMAWeekly.com sources have since confirmed that Shalorus is expected to fight Eduard Folayang at One FC 9 on May 31 at SM Mall of Asia in Bay City near Manila. UFC 162: Ricardo Lamas opens as favorite over Chan Sung Jung
