Hendricks Out Of Title Fight, Faces Matt Brown At UFC 185
UFC officials have opted against a Robbie Lawler-Johny Hendricks trilogy, for unknown reasons, and instead have put Hendricks in against Columbus Ohio’s Matt “The Immortal” Brown.
UFC officials announced the news Tuesday.
UFC 185 goes down from the American Airlines Center, in Dallas, on March 14.
No news on what the UFC’s intentions are for their newly minted welterweight champion Robbie Lawler.

Nate Diaz earns just $16,000 after lengthy holdout
Nate Diaz sat out the better part of a year in protest of his UFC contract, and while he ultimately returned to fight Rafael dos Anjos at UFC on FOX 13, his holdout seems to have been in vain. Diaz earned just $16,000 for his co-main event loss to dos Anjos this past December, according to information released to MMAFighting.com by the Arizona Boxing and MMA Commission.

Sergio Pettis will meet Ryan Benoit in a flyweight contest at UFC 185 “Pettis vs. Dos Anjos” on March 14.
Ultimate Fighting Championship officials Tuesday announced the matchup, which will take place at American Airlines Center in Dallas. Pettis’ elder brother, Anthony Pettis, defends his UFC lightweight title against Rafael dos Anjos in the show’s main event.
