CABMMA official: ‘We can’t change the result’ of Drew Dober vs. Leandro Silva
Drew Dober is planning on appealing his UFC Fight Night 62 loss against Leandro Silva, but it’s unlikely that he will have any success in the process.
Dober lost via submission in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday night, even though he neither tapped nor lost consciousness as "Buscape" applied a guillotine. Still, referee Eduardo Herdy stepped in and called the fight over. And even though it was a blatant misjudgment, his bizarre mistake might not be enough for Dober to get the result overturned to a no-contest, according to Cristiano Sampaio, COO of the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA).

The Ultimate Fighting Champion returned to Rio de Janeiro on Saturday for UFC Fight Night 62: Maia vs. LaFlare at the Maracanazinho Gymnasium for a card headlined by welterweights Demian Maia and Ryan LaFlare.
After the fights, the UFC awarded its usual $50,000 post-fight bonuses and it wasn't an easy deciding who received them on a fight card that featured nine finishes. Gilbert Burns, Godofredo ‘Pepey' Castro, Kevin Souza and Fredy Serrano ultimately earned the bonus money.
Koscheck not ready to announce retirement yet
Josh Koscheck suffered his 5th straight loss in the UFC, with two straight coming in the last month. It was also his final fight on his current contract. While for most guys that would automatically mean a UFC exit, Koscheck does have a long tenure with the company.
"I do have a soft spot for the TUF 1 guys," Dana White said during the post-fight press conference. "Josh and I will talk in a couple of days, and we'll go from there."

Meisha Tate-Jessica Eye Title Eliminator Bout Targeted For UFC Event In June
UFC President Dana White revealed during a Friday press conference that a 135-pound showdown between Miesha Tate and Jessica Eye has been targeted for an as-yet-to-be determined event in June. The winner of that bout is expected to receive the next bantamweight title shot, assuming Rousey beats Correia on Aug. 1.
side note: why is Meisha even getting another shot, yes I understand she was the only person to make it pass round 2 and into round 3..but the face remains, she still got finished in both fights..not interested in this match at all..and IMHO, Eye doesn't deserve a title shot, she's just another person to boost Ronda highlight reel
