Brandon Moreno receives no sanctions after failing USADA drug test due to ‘contaminated meat’
UFC flyweight contender Brandon Moreno will receive no punishment after testing positive for a banned substance that was “determined to have been ingested by him without fault or negligence,” USADA announced Wednesday.

New bouts official for UFC Fight Night 122 in Shanghai
The UFC’s debut event in mainland China has a few new official fight-card additions. Officials recently announced heavyweights Cyril Asker (8-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC) vs. James Mulheron (11-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and welterweights Alex Garcia (14-4 MMA, 4-3 UFC) vs. Muslim Salikhov (12-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC).

With small UFC 217 lineup shuffle, OSP vs. Anderson elevated to FS1 prelims
Anderson vs. Saint Preux has moved from the UFC Fight Pass early prelim up to the FS1-televised prelims. As a result, a heavyweight fight between Ion Cutelaba (13-3 MMA, 2-2 UFC) vs. Michal Oleksiejczuk (12-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has been demoted from FS1 prelims to the UFC Fight Pass portion of the card, though it’s now in the featured early-prelim slot and closes out the three-bout online stream.

Combate Americas' Copa Combate to air live in English on NBC Sports Network
Combate Americas today announced that Copa Combate, the promotion’s one-night, $100,000 grand prize bantamweight tournament, will air live on NBC Sports Network in addition to its Spanish-language telecast on Telemundo. The event, which takes place Nov. 11 in Cancun, Mexico, marks the first time that two NBCUniversal-owned platforms will simulcast live MMA.

Al Iaquinta out, Charles Oliveira in against Paul Felder at UFC 218
An injury has scratched Al Iaquinta from UFC 218, and Charles Oliveira is in to face fellow lightweight Paul Felder at UFC 218. MMAjunkie confirmed the news with multiple people close to negotiations after an initial report from MMAFighting.com. The people asked to remain anonymous because the news had not been made public. UFC officials haven’t made a formal announcement. UFC 218 takes place Dec. 2 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. The main card airs live on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

UFC 218 loses Paul Felder vs. Al Iaquinta
UFC 218 has lost one of its best fights. The Paul Felder vs. Al Iaquinta lightweight fight has been canceled due to a recent Iaquinta injury, MMA Fighting has learned. Charles Oliveira is currently the front-runner to replace Iaquinta, though that fight isn’t finalized just yet.

UFC 221 to take place in Perth, Australia on Feb. 11
The UFC has been all over Australia and now it is adding Perth to its list of Down Under destinations. On Monday evening, the promotion announced that the Octagon will be making a stop at the Perth Arena on Feb. 11 (Feb. 10 in North America) for UFC 221. It will be the 12th time that the UFC has visited Australia having previously scheduled shows in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, and Gold Coast.

UFC 220 set for Jan. 20 in Boston
The UFC’s first pay-per-view of 2018 will take place in Boston. ESPN’s Brett Okamoto first reported that UFC 220 is scheduled for Jan. 20 in Beantown, and MMAjunkie subsequently confirmed the plans with an additional UFC official. No bouts were revealed for the card, which takes place at TD Garden.

Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 119 event drew an announced attendance of 10,265 fans. UFC officials announced the tally following the event, which MMAjunkie attended. No live gate total was announced, as is typical with UFC events in Brazil. UFC Fight Night 119 took place at Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, and the main card aired on FS1 following prelims on FS2 and UFC Fight Pass.

UFC Fight Night 119 bonuses: Derek Brunson's decimation of Machida was worth an extra $50,000
Derek Brunson, Pedro Munhoz, Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos and Max Griffin each earned $50,000 fight-night bonuses at Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 119 event. Brunson and Munhoz earned “Performance of the Night” awards, and dos Santos and Griffin took home “Fight of the Night” honors. Raquel Pennington breaks leg in scary hunting accident, out of planned UFC title fight
On the cusp of her first world title shot, Raquel Pennington instead finds herself dealing with the worst setback of her fighting career. The 29-year-old women’s bantamweight contender verbally agreed to meet divisional champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 219 on Dec. 30, but she suffered a severe leg injury in an ATV accident earlier this week and now expects to be on the shelf for the foreseeable future. Pennington’s injury and her aborted bout with Nunes were first reported by Combate. MMA Fighting reached out to Pennington, who provided details of the frightening scene.

Jennifer Maia puts 125 title on line vs. Agnieszka Niedzwiedz at Invicta FC 26 in December
Invicta FC will return in December, a week later than had been previously reported, and the flyweight title will be on the line in the main event. In the headliner, flyweight champion Jennifer Maia (14-4-1) will put her belt up for grabs against unbeaten challenger Agnieszka Niedzwiedz (10-0), the promotion announced on Wednesday. The card will stream live on UFC Fight Pass. Also on the card, Mizuki Inoue (12-4) returns to take on Janaisa Morandin (9-1) at strawweight, and Vanessa Porto (18-8) meets Jessica-Rose Clark (7-4) in a flyweight bout. Invicta FC 26 takes place Dec. 8 at Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Mo.

Frankie Saenz vs. Merab Dvalishvili added to UFC Fight Night 123 in Fresno
The lineup for the UFC’s debut in Fresno, Calif., continues to grow with the addition of a bantamweight bout. Michael Bisping being sued for allegedly choking teenager at a gym
Just over a week away from UFC 217, Michael Bisping has more to worry about than just Georges St-Pierre. The UFC middleweight champion is being sued by a teenager, who claims Bisping choked him at an Anaheim, Calif., gym in July, MMA Fighting confirmed Wednesday.
