Yahoo Sports: MMA needs to address steroids problem
Sean Sherk had the gall to go on a national television show and brag about his training routine when he knew it was all fake. Hermes Franca had the temerity to ask those he perpetrated a fraud upon for forgiveness. They should, and will, be punished severely for testing positive for anabolic steroids following their July 7 match for the UFC lightweight title in Sacramento, Calif. ....

Antoni Hardonk - A Dangerous Work in Progress
If you were building the prototypical UFC heavyweight, you would probably come up with someone closely resembling Holland’s Antoni Hardonk: Six foot four, 245 pounds, trained in kickboxing by Ernesto Hoost, schooled in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by Rickson Gracie, and blessed with a fighter’s heart and the willingness to learn.

Manny Wants Rematch
Manny Gamburyan was in the biggest fight of his career against Nate Diaz back at The Ultimate Fighter 5 Finale. It appeared Manny was winning the fight and Diaz hadn't offered much of an offense. At the start of the second round, Gamburyan shot in for a take down. After the shot, he immediately tapped out. Gamburyan's shoulder had popped out and was dislocated. All of his dreams had been lost because of the injury, and the victory belonged to Nate Diaz.

Dana White Blasts Fedor's Team, Russians
In a recent interview Dana White stated that the reason the Fedor deal has not been finished is because he was "dealing with crazy Russians." Needless to say Fedor's boxing coach and trainer was none too pleased, going as far as to say the "U.S. and Russia will never see eye to eye, and I don't care what he says." Real smart, the guy is trying to get the best fighter on Planet Earth, and he not only disrespects Fedor's team and handlers, but also his entire country. Keep the hits coming Dana. SPOTLIGHT ON CANADA
STOUT SAYS TO EXPECT RUBBER MATCH AGAINST FISHER “Right after my second fight with Spenser Fisher, Dana White told me there would be a rubber match. As far as losses go, my loss to Fisher was pretty much as good as it gets. I watched the tape and realized there’s a few things I’ll need to do differently for the third fight. I’ll make those adjustments and I’m confident that I’ll take the best of three series,” explained a positive sounding Sam Stout. Stout fought Spenser Fisher in the main event of the most recent Ultimate Fight Night, live on SPIKE TV. Similar to their first encounter, it was a non-stop, action packed fight with outstanding striking displayed by both fighters. Stout versus Fisher is quickly becoming one of MMA’s great rivalries. It would be hard to imagine one hardcore MMA fan that wouldn’t love to see a third installment. Read the rest @-->
