Anderson Silva Posts Training Photo of Him Grappling, Says, “I’m Back”
Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva posted a photo of himself back on the mats on Sunday saying, “I’m back.” It’s unclear when Silva will actually be able to return to the Octagon, but he has indicated his desire to do so, and his manager and UFC president Dana White both said they believe he will be back near the end of the year. This latest post follows others that showed Silva’s steps to recovery, including him walking unassisted down a flight of stairs and lifting weights just weeks after he broke both bones in his left leg during his UFC 168 bout with champion Chris Weidman. Good news for Silva and his fans to see him back on the mat!
