Conor McGregor's agent: 'Notorious' would entertain offer to crossover to WWE - 'Have their people call our people'
Paul "Triple H" Levesque -- Vice President of Talent at WWE -- has his eyes on Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) double champ Conor McGregor, recently saying "Notorious" could easily make the transition into the professional wrestling world because he has the complete package.
While it wasn’t exactly a formal offer from "Triple H" -- who was in attendance at UFC 205 in New York to watch the trash-talking Irishman make history with his win over Eddie Alvarez -- Team McGregor would indeed entertain one if ever presented with an offer, according to his manager Audi Attar.

Cortney Casey addresses kick controversy, says it ‘sucks’ people are questioning her character
If it weren’t daunting enough for Cortney Casey to go into Brazil and take on women’s strawweight No. 1 contender Claudia Gadelha, the aftermath of the fight may have pushed things over the edge.
Casey appeared to take a blatantly illegal kick to the head while she was on the ground during the third round in her fight with Gadelha at UFC Fight Night 100 in Sao Paulo. Though there was a halt to the action, at the time referee Fernando Portello didn’t issue Gadelha any kind of warning, and no point was deducted, even as Casey appeared to be noticeably affected by the kick. And after conferring with cageside physicians, Casey said she was able to continue.
The head kick ultimately wouldn’t have mattered in terms of a point deduction, anyway. She ended up losing the fight via a one-sided unanimous decision 30-27 on all three scorecards.
Yet, the new question became — did she actually get kicked in the head? Fans began to accuse Casey of exaggerating the blow — which many believe never really connected — to try for an advantage in a fight she was losing. The Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission’s COO Cristiano Sampaio went one step further, putting out a statement to MMA Fighting that Casey had "forged" her injury, saying the kick didn’t land. Sampaio even went so far as to say that Casey conduct was "wrong and unsportsmanlike."
The 29-year-old Casey saw that statement — as well as all the other accusations on social media — after she got back home to Maui. The comments caught her off guard, as she said those kind of theatrics were the last thing on her mind.

Thiago Alves’ first attempt at fighting as a UFC lightweight didn’t just end in a loss. He’s now picked up an additional suspension.

Bob Arum: Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Manny Pacquiao could happen 'sometime next year'
*MODS - Does this belong here?...*
This weekend sees one of boxing's most gifted fighters in action as he faces one of his toughest tests. Vasyl Lomachenko is a rare talent, a two-division world champion only 7 fights into his pro career. He takes on the very dangerous Nicholas Walters in a terrific HBO main event Saturday night.
In the lead up to Saturday night and Lomachenko vs. Walters, promoter and Top Rank CEO Bob Arum talked about what could be next for Lomachenko, and he brought a very interesting name to the table (emphasis added):
Welcome to the UFC: Pedro, Volkanovski, & Lausa
A new light heavyweight talent, a new flyweight, and a new lightweight make their UFC debuts in Melbourne, Australia.
The UFC is in a bit of a “developmental events” stretch. Between last week’s doubleheader, this week’s Melbourne fight card, next week’s TUF finale, and UFC Albany, there are a lot of fights going on with very little name value. On the flip side, that also means a lot of chances for young fighters to win big and stand out against their peers. In Australia this week, there are three fighters looking that opportunity square in the face for the first time. Light heavyweight Tyson Pedro makes his debut against fellow prospect Khalil Rountree. Flyweight Jenel Lausa faces off against Yao Zhikui. And lightweight Alex Volkanovski takes on Yusuke Kasuya. So...

Tim Kennedy calls out Anderson Silva to replace Rashad Evans at UFC 206 in Toronto
He’s done it before, recently, on even shorter notice. Might Anderson Silva be willing to step up to help keep a fighter on a UFC show once again?
That’s what Tim Kennedy wants to know. The UFC middleweight today tweeted at Silva and suggested maybe the two should fight next month at UFC 206 in Toronto. Kennedy (18-5 MMA, 3-1 UFC) is in need of an opponent after Rashad Evans (19-5-1 MMA, 14-5-1 UFC) had to be pulled from the card.
Kennedy and Evans were supposed to be a part of UFC 205, but the New York commission would not clear Evans for an undisclosed medical issue. The fight then shifted to UFC 206, but Monday, Evans’ manager told MMAjunkie the Ontario Athletic Commission also denied Evans a license for the fight.

USADA responds in detail to Lyoto Machida’s criticism of suspension
Lyoto Machida is not happy with the length of his suspension...
Marc Raimondi: It's somewhat explained in the release about Machida's suspension, but can you detail the process of the investigation from admission to sanction? He did also fail a drug test, correct?
Ryan Madden: It's a good question. The short version is that the whole situation would have been avoided if Mr. Machida had simply used the resources made available to him to ensure that his use of a product -?? called 7-Keto -?? was permitted under the UFC Anti-Doping Program.
It would have been really easy, all he has to do was visit GlobalDRO.com -?? a resource that all athletes receive education on -?? and search for 7-keto. He also could have reached out to us directly. Either way, within minutes, he would have been able to determine that this product was not safe to use under the Program.
Yoel Romero suspended 60 days by NYSAC for leaving cage after beating Chris Weidman
Yoel Romero's celebration was unfit for the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC).
The UFC middleweight has been suspended 60 days by the NYSAC after he hopped the cage after defeating Chris Weidman by third-round knockout at UFC 205 on Nov. 12 at Madison Square Garden, per New York State Department spokesperson Laz Benitez.
Romero jumped over the Octagon in adulation, did a soldier's march around the outside perimeter of the cage, and then entered back in for Bruce Buffer to reach the official results.
Exiting the fighting area before the bout is officially over is prohibited by the New York commission. Romero will be eligible to return to action Jan. 12, 2017.
CABMMA overturns Darren Stewart vs. Francimar Barroso to no-contest
Francimar Barroso filed an official complaint following his first-round TKO loss Darren Stewart at UFC Fight Night 100 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA) has overturned the result.
Barroso complained that Stewart connected an illegal headbutt when going for a takedown, but referee Eduardo Herdy didn’t stop the action. Stewart successfully took Barroso down, and landed several punches before the referee stopped the bout to give him the TKO victory.
NYSAC gives Kelvin Gastelum six-month administrative suspension for missing weigh-ins
Not weighing in before UFC 205 might be more costly than originally thought for Kelvin Gastelum.
The New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) has administratively suspended Gastelum for six months because he did not attend the weigh-ins Nov. 11 before UFC 205, per New York State Department spokesperson Laz Benitez. Gastelum was supposed to face Donald Cerrone on the card at Madison Square Garden, but had issues with his weight cut and did not weigh-in at all. The bout was called off.
Ref Eduardo Herdy does it again, CABMMA overturns result again
The first fight of UFC Fight Night 100 on Saturday in Sao Paulo, Brazil, ended awkwardly. The USA’s Darren Stewart accidentally headbutted Brazilian opponent Francimar Barroso, but referee Eduardo Herdy missed it. Barroso clutched his face and was quickly taken down. After a flurry of blows, Herdy stopped the fight, and awarded Stewart the TKO.
Barroso’s team promptly filed a complaint with Brazil’s regulating body, Comissão Atlética Brasileira de MMA (CABMMA).
