Josh Koscheck Is Not Happy
(cagepotato.com) Josh Koscheck is clearly not happy about the stoppage in his UFC 95 fight with Paulo Thiago. In this backstage video from The Telegraph he insists his hands were up, his eyes were open, and his guard was ready. His cornermen seem to feel the early stoppage was part of a trend on the night -- perhaps a dig at "regional referees" in the U.K.?

Jay Hieron: “The sky is the limit”
(fiveouncesofpain.com) Success in Mixed Martial Arts is typically measured by a fighter’s ratio of wins to losses, as well as the level of competition faced, and takes into account championship gold the individual has racked up along the way. With a professional record of 17-4 and the IFL’s final welterweight title-holder, it is fairly safe to say Jay Hieron has had a successful MMA careeer thus far.

The UFC treated fans watching UFC 95 on Setanta Sports to all 10 bouts on Saturday night in England. Even the British fans that weren't able to attend were able to see their countrymen fight, most of which faired well.
The fans that did make it to the O2 Arena treated the UFC to a strong attendance of 13,268, totaling ticket revenue of slightly more than $1 million U.S. Both are considered strong numbers during tough economic times, especially with a fight card sans a championship bout.
Like never before: A conversation with UFC lightweight Diego Sanchez
(mmamania.com) UFC 95 “Sanchez vs. Stevenson” is set to go down tonight starting at 9 pm ET from the O2 Arena in London, England. Headlining the event opposite Joe Stevenson will be Diego Sanchez, a former welterweight contender making his much-anticipated debut at 155 lbs.
The inaugural Ultimate Fighter (TUF) middleweight champion had resisted the move in recent past, especially since he was knocking on the door of a potential 170-pound title shot with a win over Thiago Alves at UFC 90: “Silva vs. Cote” back in October.
Sanchez had to withdraw from the bout, however, because of a rib injury. Alves went on to strafe last minute replacement and top player in the division, Josh Koscheck, to score a convincing unanimous decision win.
MFC 20 Results - Thompson & Healy Win
(mmaweekly.com) Defending his Maximum Fighting Championship welterweight title for the first time, Pat Healy for the second time defeated top prospect Ryan Ford by split decision after a five-round war on Friday night in Canada.
Taking the original fight on short notice, Healy had a full camp to prepare for Ford this time and it showed as he was able to take down the powerful wrestler multiple times in the bout, while also taking his back several times.
Ford was able to overpower Healy at many turns in the fight, but the Team Quest fighter used his wealth of experience to stay out of trouble and work for position, while pawing at the Canadian with submission attempts in numerous rounds.
The final round saw a back and forth war, but as the fight was closing Healy actually locked on a "twister" that saw Ford's neck wrenched backwards, and if not for the time expiring the champion may have caused the tapout.
Chase Beebe out of main event tomorrow night
(demandmma.com) Rumors were circulating last night that Beebe was not going to be in the main event at UWC Man O War tomorrow night in Fairfax, VA. It's now official that Beebe is out.
