Tim Kennedy: Are you guys fighters, or are you just a bunch of little vaginas?
Stephie Daniels: You recently tweeted your irritation about the mass exodus of fighters from this card. What's your take on the whole situation? Do you think the injuries are real? Tim Kennedy: Well, I don't know. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't. It's pathetic and convenient for every single marquee fighter in all of Strikeforce, that we all know to be going over to the UFC, are pulling out of their fights, two weeks before the final card. It's like, are you guys fighters, or are you just a bunch of little vaginas?

Joey Beltran wants to fight at UFC 157 in Anaheim, calls out Forrest Griffin
Just days after his latest victory, Joey Beltran is already hoping to hurry up and get back inside the Octagon at UFC 157. And he's got a former champion in mind for his next opponent. Despite the fact that he competed on the UFC on FX 6: "Sotiropoulos vs. Pearson" card that took place on Fri., Dec. 14, 2012, in Gold Coast, Australia, Joey Beltran is hoping to get back inside the Octagon in just a two months. "The Mexicutioner" told Bloody Elbow he's hoping to fight at UFC 157: "Rousey vs. Carmouche" on Feb. 23, 2013, in Anaheim, California, and he's got a big name in mind. "At this point, I don't care who I fight, but I want to be on that Anaheim card in February. I know it's a quick turn around, but I don't have a scratch on me. I'm ready to rock and I want to fight on that show. I'll fight Ronda Rousey right now [laughs]. I would have to go on the website, because I don't even know who's available. Is Maldonado available? I think that would be a great fight. Forrest Griffin, meet me in Anaheim. You heard it here first [laughs]. Meet me in Anaheim, brother! Honestly, I'll have to figure something out. It's only two months away, but I'm ready right now. I'll be ready to rock."

Jonathan Brookins Is Leaving for India
Up until about the third minute of his fight last weekend in Las Vegas, UFC featherweight and Ultimate Fighter winner Jonathan Brookins was actually beating up Dustin Poirier. This seemed to surprise pretty much everyone, including Jonathan Brookins. Not because he didn’t believe he was capable of beating Poirier but because he didn’t want to be fighting at all. Walking into the Octagon that night, his mind was 1000 miles away -- or rather 8000 miles away – floating through the ether.

UFC on FUEL TV 7's Cub Swanson: Fight with Siver true No. 1 contender's bout
Cub Swanson doesn't care what anyone else thinks. As far as he's concerned, his next fight is for top contender status in the featherweight division. Call it a motivational tactic. Call it hope. Call it whatever. That's what he's telling himself. Swanson (18-5 MMA, 3-1 UFC) will meet Dennis Siver (21-8 MMA, 10-5 UFC) in the co-main event of UFC on FUEL TV 7 in February, and even if the winner doesn't get the next crack at champion Jose Aldo, he'll certainly find himself right there at the top of the heap. UFC on FUEL TV 7 takes place Feb. 16 at London's Wembley Arena. The main card airs on FUEL TV following prelims on Facebook.

Mike Wilkinson to move to Featherweight
Mike “The Warrior” Wilkinson made a fantastic UFC debut this weekend in a “Fight of the Night” candidate at UFC on FX 6 in Australia. He took on fellow UK countryman and friend Brendan Loughnane, putting on the kind of three round battle all fight fans could enjoy. Great standup, effective grappling and lots of heart were on display from both fighters for the full fifteen minutes. In the end it though it was Wilkinson that got the judges decision, keeping his undefeated professional record intact. We certainly had a lot to talk about when he came on the MMA Mental Podcast this Wednesday, with a planned drop to the UFC Featherweight division among the topics discussed.

TUF 16 Finale winner Elliott nearly fought Papazian in sauna, now wants Gaudinot
There will be less real estate under the Christmas tree, and the stockings will be a little more stuffed in the Tim Elliott household this year. Following a win over Jared Papazian (14-9 MMA, 0-3 UFC) this past weekend at The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale, Elliott (9-3-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) pocketed a $40,000 "Fight of the Night" bonus and a nice boost in the flyweight rankings. But Elliott said if his opponent had gotten his wish, the fight likely would have never happened in the cage. Instead, it would have gone down in the sauna.
