Operation Sauerkraut: UFC Targets Germany
(sherdog.com) When Ultimate Fighting Championship owner Lorenzo Fertitta claimed in an interview two months ago that the UFC would be in Germany by 2008, it seemed like a pipe dream given the conservative nature of the country.

Sergei Kharitonov signs with K1, and joins Golden Glory Camp in Amsterdam.
You have probable already read that he joined Golden Glory with such fighters as Schilt and overeem, but now he signs with K1, from his website kharitonov.mmaru.de
"Sergey Kharitonov signed contract with K -1 Sergey Kharitonov it signed contract with the boytsovskoy league K -1. Sergey will fight at the tournaments by the mixed style Heros, and in the future and at tournaments K -1."

Frank Mir is His Own Worst Enemy

Dana White: If Found Guilty, Sean Sherk Will Be Stripped of Title

Norifumi Yamamato will be making his return against newcomer Bibiano Fernandes on the September 17th HERO'S card, which also features the middleweight Grand Prix finals.
For those who have been living under a rock, the '05 MWGP champion had left MMA for a run at Olympic gold in wrestling. However an unfortunate arm break crushed his chances at making the Japanese team for a shot in Beijing.

Brock Lesnar... Shut the Hell Up!!!
(mma-analyst.com) I was hoping I would never have to hear about Brock Lesnar again after news surfaced that he was dealing with pro wrestling agents after the MMA bout he had with Min Soo Kim on June 2nd at the K-1 Dynamite Show. But.. Brock just couldn't help himself.

Koscheck Willing To Be the Bad Guy
(sports.yahoo.com) There are plenty of uncertainties regarding the welterweight title elimination bout between Georges St. Pierre and Josh Koscheck at UFC 74 on Saturday at Mandalay Bay.
No one can be certain whether St. Pierre's claim to be mentally over his upset title loss to Matt Serra on April 7 is correct.

Nate Mohr Scratched From UFC 76 Bout With Injury
(ufcjunkie.com) A planned UFC 76 undercard fight between Jeremy Stephens (9-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and Nate Mohr (8-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) will not take place at the Sept. 22 event because of an injury suffered by Mohr during the past week.

Brock Lesnar vs __________ ?
(mmaweekly.com) A former NCAA heavyweight wrestling national champion and pro wrestling superstar, Brock Lesnar made his mixed martial arts debut in impressive fashion on June 2nd against Min Soo Kim. That fight was fulfillment of a one-fight deal with K-1.
Now, the 30-year-old Lesnar wants to compete in the UFC.
