It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot: MMA May Be On It's Way To New York
“I think it’s barbaric and I don’t think it’s appropriate to have it in New York,” Governor George Pataki said in 1997. “A disgraceful, animalistic and disgusting contest which can result in severe injuries to contestants and sets an abominable example for our youth,” state senator Roy Goodman called it the same year.

You know a sport is maturing when institutions come to an end. Henderson ready to prove he's best at light heavyweight
Casual mixed martial arts fans and those new to the sport may view Dan Henderson as a steppingstone for UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. But the diehards know better.
Hamill Ready to Settle Unfinished Business
When Matt Hamill stepped into the Octagon in his home state of Ohio this past March, he said he could feel the crowd, which for a deaf person is probably as close as they will get to the sensation of hearing. That made it an emotional night to say the least for the light heavyweight prospect, who then went on to delight his fans with a first round stoppage of Rex Holman at UFC 68.

Barnett vs Dana
Really interesting article. Barnett has some great points and I do think he is a top competitor. His style IMO is a bad match for Randy, but Randy is the champ and to say Barnett still is is infact retarded. I know I give a shit about Barnett and a lot of other fans would love to see him in the UFC. I wish Dana wouldn't say such dumbass statements like "nobody gives a shit about barnett, espeically me." Because Barnett would make a great addition to the UFC HW division.
