Hendo Says No to 220, Will Fight Fedor at Heavyweight
(cagepotato.com) When Dan Henderson tweeted a link to the above video interview with his boys at Clinch Gear Radio earlier today and promised it contained the “real deal” about his potential fight with Fedor Emelianenko, we didn’t exactly expect a bombshell. Didn’t get one, either, as Hendo and Co. spend most of the 10:45 talking about the Zuffa, LLC acquisition of Strikeforce and his light heavyweight title victory over Rafael Feijao. When the topic does finally turn to the rumored superfight with Emelianenko, Henderson says he’d be all for it, with one sort of surprising caveat: He says he wouldn’t take the fight if it is offered to him at 220-pounds.

(cagepotato.com) It took a while for Dana White and the always capable Sergio Non to really get down to business during the UFC boss’ Wednesday interview with USA Today. Both guys spent a lot of time making the obligatory small talk about UFC 129, Silva vs. Okami and which weight class Frankie Edgar should be fighting in before the actual questions came out of the quiver. (cagepotato.com) When the news dropped last month that the UFC had bought Strikeforce, one of the least talked about stories was where would the move leave Strikeforce’s contracted female fighters, should Zuffa decide to cease promoting women’s MMA. UFC president Dana White has long been a vocal opponent of having women fight for him as there aren’t, in his opinion, enough top female fighters to make it a worthwhile endeavor.

Kimbo Slice's Manager, Entourage Accused of Using Underage Girl in Adult Film
(bloodyelbow.com) May 8th will mark a full calendar year since Kimbo Slice participated in a mixed martial arts bout, and we haven't heard much from the South Beach street fighter in the interim. Prior to lacing up the four ounce gloves, Slice worked as a chauffeur and bodyguard for the Miami-based porn-company Reality Kings, who he maintained as an entourage during his legitimate fight career.
Despite the porn industry's reputation as a bastion of upstanding ethics and general goodery, Slice's adopted family, including his manager, appears to be in hot water. The Miami New Times blog reports:
?The hardcore porn starring Bieyanka Moore-- who was actually a 15-year-old runaway, according to a lawsuit filed by her mother-- was distributed by RK Netmedia, owner of RealityKings.com. But according to the mother's attorney, Mark A. Glassman, it was produced by LLL Advertising, Inc., the company owned by "Icey" Mike Imber-- manager to MMA fighter Kimbo Slice.
FBI seizes top online poker sites, including traditional MMA mega-sponsors
(mmajunkie.com) Apparently, sometimes you can stop the Internet – at least briefly, anyway.
Online poker sites PokerStars.com, FullTiltPoker.com and AbsolutePoker.com were today seized by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the owners of the sites have been charged with accusations of fraud and illegal gambling.
The shutdown could have a substantial impact in the world of mixed martial arts as the online poker industry features several companies that have traditionally invested heavily in the sponsorship of entire promotions, as well as individual fighters.
