Strikeforce exec says "Mayhem" Miller acted on his own, should have expected fallout
Much of the conversation in the mixed martial arts community following the incident has focused on assigning blame for the dust-up. While Coker was forced to speak about the incident before he had a chance to see it with his own eyes – the exec had already begun his transit to the evening's post-fight press conference when the trouble began – he believes Miller should have been able to foresee the consequences of his cage entrance.
"I didn't see it," Coker said. "I don't know how [Miller] got in there. But when you have the cornermen that Jake has, and something like that happens, you know there's going to be an issue. I don't know why he couldn't have thought that out because I could have told you that prior to them (brawling) that we should have kept them apart.

Nobody Cares About "Britney" Silva
Ouch...let the trash talk begin courtesy of Chael Sonnen. On Anderson Silva, possibly his next opponent, "I compare Anderson to Britney Spears. She shaved her head to get headlines. Britney Silva went up to 205, retired, etc. Nobody cares... When my music hits and the doors close, the fight's on. I'm not going to dance, juke or jive. I will find him... You know what you're getting with Silva. A guy who pretends he doesn't speak English, is a fantastic athlete, and acts like a fool. If you like that, go buy his t-shirt with the other two guys who like him."

A Little "White" Lie Is An Unfortunate Part Of "Reality"-Get Over It
In other words, don't expect apologies from Dana White regarding his misdirection in the cast changes reported for this season of TUF. "When we have a reality show where everything's a secret, you're gonna have to watch it. Guess what? You can't know and it's not you're privilege to know. And if people are upset with that too bad. It's a reality show. First of all, SPIKE paid for this show. For me to go out and release this information, it's insane you can't do it. It would be like finding out what happens on 'Survivor' after they film it. The people who feel like they've been lied to, too bad. Get over it. It's a reality show."

Bader will be sidelined for the next 6 weeks and is fighting Thiago Silva?
"Ultimate Fighter" season 8 winner Ryan Bader will be sidelined for the next 6 weeks with no contact after undergoing surgery on his right hand to repair a torn tendon.
The news comes courtesy of Bader's manager, David Martin, who spoke with MMAWeekly.com on Wednesday after rumors surfaced about a fight for the Arizona based competitor.
"He had a torn tendon in his right hand, on the middle finger," said Martin. "He has six weeks of no contact with the hand, and then after that he'll be ready when Joe Silva calls."

Dana Announces Chael vs Anderson
"He's got a real tough fight coming up. His next fight's going to be against Chael Sonnen, and Chael Sonnen's one of these guys who's not going to lay back, not do what these other guys (did)," White told Rome.
"When he's been in this position when these types of fights have happened, it's been against real good jiu-jitsu guys, guys that want to get the fight to the ground. Well, Chael Sonnen's going to want to take this fight to the ground, but he's going to double leg him and bring him down," said White.
"Personally, I really believe that he was embarrassed by what happened that night, maybe he did have a mental breakdown, I don't know what happened in the ring. All I can say is I know his next opponent isn't going to be a guy who's going to lay back and let him do stuff like that."
"If he ever acts like that again in the ring, I will cut him," said the UFC president. "I don't care if he's the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. I don't care if he is the middleweight champion. I will cut him, absolutely."
Sweet Chael Sonnen interview
Did you perceive the goading, motioning, shouting by Silva to be showmanship or disrespect? Or perhaps a little bit of both?
Look, I'm not a gang banger. I don't talk about “respect.” That term is for street thugs, not me.
