GSP Quick Quote: "I'm Scared"
During the final pre-UFC 83 press conference, Georges St. Pierre was very open & honest about his feelings going into tonight's fight against Matt Serra. While such feelings are generally normal pre-fight, GSP has all the pressure in the world and then some on him because he's fighting in his hometown in one of his biggest fights yet.
Trigg: "no truth" to Souza report
"I'm literally sitting in a car right now trying to get to Wrigley Field to throw out a first pitch," Trigg said. "I haven't heard anything from [DREAM] in about a week and a half. We started talking about a month ago, but lately, there's been no communication. I really haven't even thought about it lately." "We have no contract, and we have no numbers we're even close to agreeing on," he said. Trigg also said he was unlikely to fight for DREAM unless the event were to air on HDNet. Without an American audience, "it does no good for the my brand as a fighter, broadcaster, writer or for my company Triggonomics," he said. "No one would see me."

UFC 83 Preview
We are set for the biggest grudge match since last October, when middleweight champion Anderson Silva knocked out Rich Franklin for the second time in a year, this time in Franklin’s hometown of Cincinnati. Matt Serra shocked the world last year with his monumental upset via first round knockout of Georges St. Pierre, an extremely athletic fighter that seemed almost unbeatable at welterweight at the time. Here we are a year later, and St. Pierre again looks unbeatable, coming off of his lopsided win over welterweight legend Matt Hughes last December. Serra is relishing the underdog role, and it looks like we are in line for yet another great fight to unify the welterweight championship of the world.

IFL Report $31 Million Losses
The IFL will promote no pay-per-views in 2008, but that is the least of the MMA group's problems. According to the the IFL's 10k SEC report filed on 4/15, the group has suffered a net loss of $31 million. The IFL received $1.6 million from MyNetwork TV for programming, but paid $15.9 million to run shows in 2007. As things stand, the group has insufficient funds to operate past the third quarter of this year. Report from Gerweck.net I don't think this will come as a surprise to anyone really. So will any of the other orgs pick up any of the talent in the IFL.

Joe Rogan Not Going Anywhere
One of the more annoying things on the internet is when people make stuff up and report it as news because it's possible that it could happen A good example is a recent article by nutcase Rich Bergeron suggesting that Rogan was leaving the UFC:
Joe Rogan posted today at The Underground that the rumors are "bullshit," and went into more detail on his blog.

Paul Bradley discusses "TUF" departure
For Paul Bradley, everything was going along perfectly. He was invited to compete on the seventh season of "The Ultimate Fighter," he won an elimination bout to earn a spot in the house, and he did it in convincing fashion. He was then drafted by UFC light heavyweight Quinton Jackson to be part of "Team Rampage" -- as a respectable third-round pick. good read, the guy sounds like a real class act, hope he makes a name for himself in elitexc

"TUF," the UFC's hit reality series that debuted in 2005, is currently in its seventh season and features UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson and Forrest Griffin as coaches. The application process and tryouts have already begun for the eighth season, which will include lightweight and light heavyweight fighters.
