Ross Pearson says foot not broken after UFC on FUEL TV 9 victory
A backstage injury didn't turn out to be as severe as Ross Pearson originally thought. While warming up backstage for an eventual TKO victory over Ryan Couture in Saturday's UFC on FUEL TV 9 co-headliner, the British lightweight believed he had broken his foot after a kick bounced off a pad and hit coach Eric Del Fierro's elbow.

Colin Fletcher announces UFC release.
TUF: The Smashes lightweight runner-up Colin Fletcher is no longer with the UFC following a loss to Mike Ricci at UFC 158. The first cut casualty of UFC 158 has been announced. Lightweight Colin Fletcher announced on Twitter that he's been released from the UFC after just two fights.

'UFC 161: Barao vs. Wineland' lineup set, tickets on sale this week
The 13-bout lineup, including a championship headliner between interim bantamweight titleholder Renan Barao (30-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC) and challenger Eddie Wineland (20-8-1 MMA, 2-2 UFC), is set for June's UFC 161 event. The pay-per-view event takes place June 15 at MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. FX and Facebook carry the prelims.

Gegard Mousasi fought Ilir Latifi on injured knee, will undergo surgery
If Gegard Mousasi seemed slow and deliberate in his unanimous decision victory over Ilir Latifi in Saturday's UFC on Fuel 9 main event, he had a good reason. The former Strikeforce and Dream champion revealed following the event that he suffered a knee injury during his training camp, which will require surgery. From welfare to custom suits, Conor McGregor says UFC win biggest of career
While it's already being praised as one of the most impressive UFC debuts in recent memory, Conor McGregor's UFC on FUEL TV 9 win didn't just boost his notoriety in the sport: It's also going to get him off welfare. Raphael Assuncao vs. Vaughan Lee slated for UFC on Fuel 10
One more fight appears to be on tap for UFC on Fuel 10: Nogueira vs. Werdum in Fortaleza, Brazil. Tatame reports that Brazilian bantamweight Raphael Assuncao will fight England's Vaughan Lee on June 8th. Assuncao (18-4) recently pulled off an upset win over Mike Easton at UFC on Fox 5 in December. He's now won his last 3 fights (all at 135 lbs) after suffering a KO loss in his UFC debut against Erik Koch at featherweight. It should be noted that Assuncao broke his arm in the Easton fight. Assuncao is the #6 ranked bantamweight in the UFC's official rankings page.
