Kelvin Gastelum, Efrain Escudero named head coaches of 'TUF: Latin America 2'
The second season of “The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America” has its coaches, and they’re no strangers to the UFC’s long-running reality show. “TUF 17? winner Kelvin Gastelum (10-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) and “TUF 8? champion Efrain Escudero (23-9 MMA, 4-5 UFC) will head their respective squads on the show, which begins filming later this month, officials today announced. The show will forego the usual post-series coach-vs.-coach fight since the fighters are two weight classes apart. “TUF: Latin America 2? debuts in August, and Mexico will host the show’s live finale later this year. The show is televised in Mexico and throughout Latin America, and it streams on UFC Fight Pass in North America. “TUF: Latin America 2? features lightweight and welterweight hopefuls from Mexico and other Latin American countries, though the cast hasn’t yet been revealed.

Bellator MMA middleweight champion Brandon Halsey (8-0 MMA, 6-0 BMMA) will look to defend his title for the first time when he meets Kendall Grove (21-14 MMA, 2-1 BMMA) at Bellator 137. Bellator officials today announced the pairing, which serves as the main event of Bellator 137 on May 15 at Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, Calif. The evening’s main card airs on Spike TV following prelims on MMAjunkie.

The UFC’s return to New Orleans will feature a few more native Louisianans, with heavyweight Derrick Lewis (12-3 MMA, 3-1 UFC) vs. Shawn Jordan (17-6 MMA, 5-3 UFC) and welterweights Brian Ebersole (51-16 MMA, 5-2 UFC) vs. Alan Jouban (11-3 MMA, 2-1 UFC). UFC officials today confirmed the matchups after an initial report from NOLA.com. With the additions to the card, UFC Fight Night 68 now includes: Ryan Bader vs. Daniel Cormier Tim Boetsch vs. Dan Henderson Matt Mitrione vs. Ben Rothwell Derrick Lewis vs. Shawn Jordan Brian Ebersole vs. Alan Jouban

Thiago Silva vs. Matt Hamill now WSOF 19 co-main event with Vinny Magalhaes sidelined
World Series of Fighting is making some changes. Thiago Silva will take on Matt Hamill in a rematch that will act as the WSOF 19 co-headliner March 28 in Phoenix, WSOF president Ray Sefo told MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani on Tuesday. The bout will be a semifinal in the WSOF light heavyweight title tournament. Vinny Magalhaes was initially supposed to face Hamill at World Series of Fighting 20 on April 10, but according to WSOF there are issues with his contract.

Kyle Noke gets home fight, meets Andreas Stahl at UFC Fight Night 65
Australian Kyle Noke (20-7-1 MMA, 4-3 UFC) will fight in his home country when he meets Swedish welterweight Andreas Stahl (9-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 65. UFC officials today announced the bout. UFC Fight Night 65 takes place May 10 (but streams live in North America on May 9 due to the time difference) at Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. The event streams on UFC Fight Pass.
