A detailed timeline of the feud between Georges St. Pierre and Nick Diaz
Not many fights in UFC history approach the level of animosity that will be on display Saturday when Nick Diaz challenges Georges St. Pierre for the welterweight championship in Montreal.
And the few that have, for the most part, came together in a timelier manner. Trying to keep up with the two welterweights’ feud over the past three years has been as difficult as thwarting a St. Pierre takedown attempt.
Side effects of attempting to recount exactly how the two arrived at their UFC 158 meeting likely include headache and heartburn.

After ironing out ‘discrepancies' with Dana White, Mark Hunt ready to ‘test his mettle' against dos Santos
While the first 'Rally for Mark Hunt' failed, the second edition proved to be a resounding success. Much to the delight of his "Army of Doom," Hunt replaced an injured Alistair Overeem against former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos as the co-main event of UFC 160. Though the journey wasn't as straightforward as the result.
Despite the "Super Samoan" immediately campaigning for the vacant shot at dos Santos, UFC President Dana White announced on Twitter that Hunt had turned the fight down. It wasn't until days later, after White posted an ominous tweet that described a positive phone conversation he had with Hunt, that the fight was officially booked...
