Ryan Jimmo vs. Jimi Manuwa added to UFC Fight Night 30
A light heavyweight matchup that should provide fireworks is on tap for UFC Fight Night 30.
Jimi Manuwa (13-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) and Ryan Jimmo (18-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) are the latest additions to the card, which takes place Oct. 26 at Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.
It's unknown whether the fight, which was first reported by MMAFighting.com, will serve on the Facebook-streamed preliminary-card or the FOX Sports 2-televised main card.
Andrei Arlovski in for injured Anthony Johnson vs. Mike Kyle at WSOF 5
A training injury has forced Anthony Johnson (15-4) to withdraw from World Series of Fighting 5.
Johnson's scheduled opponent, Mike Kyle (20-9-1), will now meet ex-UFC champ Andrei Arlovski (30-10) at heavyweight in the headliner of the Sept. 14 event. WSOF 5 takes place at Revel Atlantic City in Atlantic City, N.J. Its main card airs live on NBC Sports Network.
MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) confirmed the switch with the promotion following a report from MMAFighting.com.
WIth the change, the WSOF 5 card now includes:
Andrei Arlovski vs. Mike Kyle
Dave Branch vs. Danillo Villefort - middleweight tournament semifinals
Elvis Mutapcic vs. Jesse Taylor - middleweight tournament semifinals
Korean Zombie also suffered fractured foot during UFC 163 title fight against Jose Aldo

At this point, it would probably be surprising to find out what bones Chan Sung Jung didn't break in his featherweight title fight last weekend (Aug. 3, 2013) against Jose Aldo for the main event of UFC 163 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

Nik Lentz used Fight of the Night bonus money to pay for father's life-saving surgery
The telephone rang on Christmas Eve, as Nik Lentz was headed to a friend's home for a holiday party. He saw the phone number of his manager, Monte Cox, appear on his caller ID.
Lentz, a UFC fighter, wasn't expecting to hear from Cox. When he saw who it was, he briefly wondered why he'd be getting a call from Cox on Christmas Eve.
Perhaps, he thought, Cox was calling with holiday wishes. Or, he surmised, Cox had a fight offer to present that might have been good news.
Lentz answered and Cox's familiar voice came on the line.
But this was not a pleasant call, definitely one that Cox did not want to make...
