UFC 191 salaries: Anthony Johnson event's top earner with $230,000 purse
Anthony Johnson was the top earner at this past weekend’s UFC 191 event and was one of four men to make six figures. Johnson, who scored a TKO victory over Jimi Manuwa at the event, edged out Andrei Arlovski by $5,000 to take the top spot on disclosed payouts. Demetrious Johnson's Xbox sponsorship in limbo in UFC's Reebok era
At a recent media event in downtown LA, Johnson told MMAFighting.com essentially, that his Xbox sponsorship is in limbo. "I'm still in touch with them," Johnson said. "If any opportunities come up, then if I fit that role I'll be reached out. Other than that, it's just not there." The problem with maintaining outside sponsorships in the Reebok era is that the sponsor's big payoff came when their brand was displayed on television. While fighters can still do things like personal appearances outside of fight week, the sponsorship loses value if there aren't hundreds of thousands of people watching. "All the sponsors out there, they're looking for that prime-time spot, that's what they're paying for," Johnson said. "So if any, Bad Boy, Hayabusa, whatever's out there, they're looking for that prime spot. Of course they can do stuff outside the Octagon, but they're going to make their big money inside the Octagon, that's where they get the most viewers."

No, Fedor Emelianenko did not sign with the UFC today
The UFC’s “Go Big” news conference today in Las Vegas seemed the perfect place to announce the acquisition of heavyweight legend Fedor Emelianenko. But alas, there’s no deal to announce, UFC President Dana White said. “No,” the UFC executive said when asked if he might use the occasion to drop the news. “Next question.” The answer was not what the hardcore fans in attendance wanted to hear, and they immediately let White know with a chorus of boos. Emelianenko (34-4), after all, is the white wale that’s eluded the promotion and kept them from satisfying the long-burning question of how “The Last Emperor” would fare in the UFC’s octagon. “If I had something to tell you, we would have told you,” White cried out to fans. “Today’s ‘Go Big.’ If I had it, I’d tell you. I don’t got it. What do you want me to say?”

Three cards in three days in Las Vegas: UFC Fight Night 80 set for Dec. 10
Doing shows on back-to-back nights in the same city apparently is so old hat for the UFC by now, the promotion is raising the bar in December. With UFC 194 set for Dec. 12 in Las Vegas, the UFC recently set the TUF 22 Finale for the night before, Dec. 11. Today, UFC President Dana White announced the promotion will do a third show on Dec. 10, also in Las Vegas. Although no headliner or other fights were announced, the card, presumably UFC Fight Night 80, will take place at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The card will stream on UFC Fight Pass.

Report: Tate vs. Nunes targeted for December
It seems that Ronda Rousey's next title challenger will emerge one month after he own title defense. Amanda Nunes vs. Miesha Tate is targeted to go down in December, though no event has been officially settled so far, as Combate reported. Riding a two-fight win streak with a TKO over Shayna Baszler and a submission over Sara McMann, Nunes is one of the most powerful strikers in all of the division, also knocking out Sheila Gaff and Germaine de Randamie before being stopped herself by strikes against Cat Zingano a year ago.
