Nevada State Athletic Commission officials today issued the suspension and fine at the commission’s monthly meeting in Las Vegas. Drostanolone is an anabolic steroid.

Long the only state in the United States which banned the sport, the Assembly in the capital city of Albany voted to legalize MMA on Tuesday on a bipartisan vote of 113-25.
The bill now moves to the desk of Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who has expressed his intention to sign it. From there, the New York State Athletic Commission has 120 days to adopt guidelines.

Following a victory, his character, much like the majority of those in the game, gestured in the form of a cross.

UR Fight results: Chael Sonnen vs. Michael Bisping ends in draw, Roy Jones Jr. scores massive KO
PHOENIX -- Four years after their fight on FOX, retired middleweight Chael Sonnen and UFC contender Michael Bisping met once more in an exhibition grappling match Sunday night at UR Fight -- the smorgasbord online pay-per-view from UR Show which also featured MMA, pro wrestling, and the boxing return of Roy Jones Jr. at the Celebrity Theatre.
Sonnen and Bisping first clashed in early 2012 at UFC on FOX 2, with Sonnen claiming a narrow unanimous decision to secure a UFC title shot against Anderson Silva. The win never sat right with Bisping, however the Brit was unable to exact much vengeance at UR Fight. Bisping, weighing 212 pounds, worked to uneventful draw against Sonnen, who weighed in at 231 pounds.
