Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospectShavkat Rakjmonov and Brazilian veteran Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Pereira.

James Vick vs. Beneil Dariush targeted for UFC 199
The UFC is targeting a lightweight fight between James Vick and Beneil Dariush for UFC 199 after Evan Dunham, Vick's original opponent, recently withdrew from the fight due to undisclosed reasons, MMA Fighting has learned.
Coincidentally just one week ago, Vick agreed to fight Dunham after Leonardo Santos got injured.
Martin Svensson Returns to Cage Warriors Fighting Championship

Veteran Fighter Blas Avena Found Dead, Police Suspect Suicide
Thirty-two-year-old mixed martial artist Blas Avena was found deceased in his Las Vegas apartment on Wednesday. Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating his passing as a possible suicide.
“Arriving police and medical personnel located an adult male who was pronounced deceased at the scene. As of now, the death is being investigated as a suicide,” a LVMPD spokesperson told TMZ.
Godofredo Pepey faces Darren Elkins at UFC on Fox 20
A featherweight bout has been confirmed for UFC on Fox 20. Godofredo Castro faces Darren Elkins.
The bout was confirmed by sources close to the organization.
UFC On Fox 20 will take place on July 23 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Bellator 154’s main card is once again complete after the promotion’s announcement of two more bouts for the event.
A Bellator press release announced the additions of a welterweight bout between Saad Awad (18-7 MMA, 6-3 BMMA) and Evangelista Santos (21-16 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) and a lightweight bout between Adam Piccolotti (7-0 MMA, 3-0 BMMA) and Ray Wood (7-1 MMA, 1-0 BMMA).
Norman Parke vs Vlado Sikic set for Final Fight Championship in September
Norman Parke announced on his Facebook page today that he has signed with FCC (Final Fight Championship) in Austria and will be fighting undefeated striker Vlado Sikic (10-0-1) in September 2016.
Parke’s recent release from the UFC was seen as harsh by most fans after the Northern Irishman had gone 5-3-1 inside the promotion with his losses coming via close decisions.
Sikic has 9 finishes from his 10 wins, with only his debut and his draw with Islam Maganadov going to a decision.
After Josh Thomson fight scrapped, Michael Chandler expects return at Bellator 157
Former Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler expects to get back in the cage at Bellator 157 after a highly anticipated bout with Josh Thomson was scrapped for Bellator 154.
Chandler on Tuesday told MMAjunkie Radio he is interested in keeping the matchup with the UFC veteran, or perhaps squaring off with another high-profile Bellator signee – ex-UFC champ Benson Henderson – when he returns to action.
Chandler (14-3 MMA, 11-3 BMMA) had just completed a strength and conditioning session this past Friday when he heard the news that Thomson (22-8 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) was forced to withdraw from Bellator 154, set for May 14 at SAP Center in San Jose, Calif., due to an undisclosed injury.

UFC 200 takes place July 9 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. But in the two days leading up to it, UFC Fight Night 90 takes place July 7 at MGM Grand Garden Arena, and the TUF 23 Finale gakes place July 8 at the same venue.
In the main event of UFC Fight Night 90, which streams in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass, lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos (25-7 MMA, 14-5 UFC) meets challenger and former Bellator champ Eddie Alvarez (27-4 MMA, 2-1 UFC).
In the TUF 23 Finale headliner, Joanna Jedrzejczyk (11-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC) defends her strawweight title against Claudia Gadelha (13-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC). The card airs on FOX Sports 1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.
Tickets for both events range from $44 for the upper level to $204 for cageside seats, plus fees.
Alexey Oleinik returns vs. Daniel Omielanczuk at UFC Fight Night 91 in Sioux Falls
The UFC’s debut card in South Dakota continues to build with the addition of a heavyweight fight.
Alexey Oleinik (50-9 MMA, 2-0 UFC) will return after a long layoff for a fight against Daniel Omielanczuk (18-5-1 MMA, 3-2 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 91 according to Polish media outlets, including Lowking. UFC officials have not yet announced the fight.
UFC FIght Night 91 takes place July 13 at Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, S.D. The card is expected to air on FOX Sports 1 with early prelims streaming on UFC Fight Pass.
Robbie Lawler vs. Tyron Woodley welterweight title fight targeted for UFC 201 in Atlanta
The UFC is heading back to Atlanta for the first time in more than four years, and it looks like the welterweight title will be on the line in the main event.
UFC 201 is set for July 30 at Philips Arena in Atlanta, the UFC announced tonight. The fight targeted for the headliner is between welterweight champion Robbie Lawler (27-10 MMA, 12-4 UFC) and Tyron Woodley (15-3 MMA, 5-2 UFC), per a report on FOX Sports 1’s “UFC Tonight.”
Rapahel Assuncao vs. T.J. Dillashaw rematch in the works for UFC 200
After being passed over for a rematch with newly minted UFC bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz, T.J. Dillashaw will instead get a chance to avenge another octagon loss.
Wednesday’s edition of “UFC Tonight” broke the news that a rematch between Dillashaw (12-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) and the returning Raphael Assuncao (23-4 MMA, 7-1 UFC) is targeted for the banner UFC 200, which takes place July 9 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Holm vs. Shevchenko, ‘Rumble’ vs. Teixeira in Works for UFC on Fox 20
A bantamweight headliner between Holly Holm and Valentina Shevchenko is in the works for the UFC on Fox 20 headliner, according to a report from UFC Tonight.
The July 23 card is also expected to include a light heavyweight showdown pitting Anthony Johnson against Glover Teixeira, as well as a previously reported lightweight tilt between Edson Barboza and Gilbert Melendez. UFC on Fox 20 takes place at the United Center in Chicago and airs on the Fox Network.
Muay Thai champ Tiffany van Soest says she’s ‘one or two years away’ from breaking out in MMA
After making her name as a champion kickboxer under the Lion Fight banner, winning titles in two separate weight classes, Tiffany van Soest is looking to expand her horizons.
The 27-year-old "Time Bomb" recently signed deals with the kickboxing promotion Glory, as well as an MMA deal with Invicta FC. She competes May 13 at the Glory 30 Super Fight Series against Emma Hasshass in Los Angeles.
And, though an opponent hasn’t been named as of yet for her Invicta FC debut -- which will double officially as her MMA debut -- van Soest says the fight will take place on Sept. 23.
Bellator fighter Jordan Parsons dies after hit-and-run accident
Jordan “Pretty Boy” Parsons, a 25-year-old contender in Bellator’s featherweight division, died Wednesday of injuries he sustained in a hit-and-run auto accident Sunday in Delray Beach, Fla.
Parsons was struck by a gray or silver 2012 or 2013 Range Rover while crossing the street shortly after midnight on May 1. He was taken to Delray Medical Center, where a portion of his right leg was amputated.
On Wednesday, Bellator MMA president Scott Coker confirmed the news in a statement.
"It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a dear member of the Bellator family, Jordan Parsons,” Coker said. “Jordan was an exceptional athlete and a rising star in the sport. But more importantly, he was an exceptional young man. Jordan was hard-working, dedicated, intelligent, and a pleasure to be around. He represented all the reasons we love this sport. It is a terribly tragic loss and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and teammates."
Nick Hein Off Sunday’s UFC Card; Jon Tuck Faces Replacement Josh Emmett in Rotterdam
Team Alpha Male product Josh Emmett will make his Octagon debut on less than one week’s notice at UFC Fight Night Rotterdam on Sunday.
Emmett replaces the injured Nick Hein and will face Jon Tuck in a preliminary lightweight bout, promotion officials announced Wednesday. The matchup will be televised on Fox Sports 1. UFC Fight Night takes place at Ahoy Rotterdam in the Netherlands and is headlined by a heavyweight clash between Alistair Overeem and Andrei Arlovski.
Gilbert Melendez vs. Edson Barboza Targeted For UFC Chicago
According to Combate, an intriguing lightweight showdown could be taking place this summer.
The report indicates that the UFC is targeting a bout between former Strikeforce champion Gilbert “El Nino” Melendez and dangerous Muay Thai striker Edson “Junior” Barboza for UFC on FOX 20 which is slated for July 23, 2016 from Chicago, Illinois.
Melendez, a former two-time UFC title challenger, is only 1-3 in his Octagon career, coming up short in both attempts at divisional supremacy. “El Nino” hasn’t competed since a June 2015 split-decision loss to current title challenger Eddie Alvarez in Mexico.
After the bout with Alvarez, it was made clear that Melendez had tested positive for performance-enhancing-drugs (PEDs), leading the promotion to hand him a one-year suspension.
