Liddell Vs. Rua & Griffin Vs. Silva in December?
The rumors of Chuck Liddell retiring could be greatly exaggerated. John
Hackleman, Liddell's trainer, said this:
"He's already said he'll be back in the gym next Monday, said Hackleman,
who has coached Liddell for 16 years. He's going to fight again,
hopefully as soon as possible, maybe in December. We're looking at
Shogun.
This would mean a HUGE December card, if true. Liddell vs. Rua, Silva vs.
Griffin, and Serra vs Hughes. Could be VERY huge.

Wow! But then Liddell could seriously be looking at his 3rd loss in a row.

Hard Work Propels Fitch up Ladder; Sanchez Contemplates Move to Lightweight
(mmajunkie.com) Jon Fitch doesn’t fight with the same electricity as fellow welterweight Georges St. Pierre. He doesn’t have champion Matt Serra’s charisma. Nor does he have Karo Parisyan’s flashy moves.
But unlike the rest of the 170-lb. division, he’s on a winning streak that puts the rest to shame.
