Travis Lutter just weighed in, i saw it live on the computer and he has to lose 2 pounds in 2 hours, if he fails to lose those 2 pounds then its up to Anderon Silva to see if they still wanna fight even if Anderson Silvs accepts the bout is still a non title bout which is very dissapointing, so lets hope Lutter loses those 2 pounds so we can see a good fight.

plus just for a history travis lutter failed to make weight against his oppenent Patrick Cote in there bout

this sucks man.....lutter better cut off his balls or something!!!!.....first GSP....now Anderson's fight in jeopardy!!!

Just one more reason why Lutter shouldnt be getting the fight. Although I hope he loses the weight so my pick will be right.

i know he had to cut a ton of weight going into this fight, what an idiot, why would anyone jeopardize their big shot, if he makes weight i'll take the idiot back, but i wanna see him get beat to a pulp so much more now

He did Make Weight in the Cote fight but he had to return to a 2nd weigh in to do so. Im guessing this is again the theme. With that i cant see Lutters Cardio being Great if he has to drop so much mass.

that sucks i hope he makes weight

I can't stand it when fighters can't fit the physical part of MMA(i.e. making weight, poor conditioning, etc.) They are professional athletes, and its part of their job, and is arguably the most important part for many sports.

I think its time for Lutter to join a good camp, instead of ridin' soloooo.

Very surprised about this, but then again it isn't the first time. I wonder how much this will take out of him. Not good for Lutter.

Trapt1nw0nder » Posted 2/1/07 12:30:00AM

im sure Silva will still take the fight regardless($$$)but if he does...lutter has a better advantage if anything....still..i dont see lutter as a good Champ anyways

Anybody know if he made weight yet?

roadking95th » Posted 1/17/07 2:43:00PM

That's just tragic. The biggest fight of his career and he might not make weight. What's worse, imagine if he doesn't make weight and Silva still accept the fight, then Lutter actually wins. He gets the win but no belt.

He needed to drop 2 lbs, but only managed half a pound. It's up on MMA Weekly.

Wow so dissappointing....I kind of feel bad for him but its just such a dissappointment for himself and for Anderson Silva.

He's really luck he won TUF and has a guarenteed contract, Dana is mean enough to cut him. I heard he didn't cut Riggs because it was the scales fault .
