except when GSP did say that he took serra lightly, it seems like everyone makes excuses and everyone accepts them if your name isnt Tito Ortiz. It is possible to humble like randy and GSP and make excuses. I dont understand how he makes the sport look bad. He draws in new and old fans, he lead the UFC through the dark ages, he's steroid/drug free (as far as we know). And how many other fighters would have complained about the point deduction, just about everyone of them
Thankyou i agree finally someone giving tito credit where its due.

I
I
some of the stuff u said is true, but i juss dont like him cus for new fans when they see that, all they see is him trashtalking and having no respect for the other fighters skills, and thats what the think the whole sport is about.

and about the other fighters GSP not taking matt serra serious??? he did take him serious, is ppl that say that, not him....same with almost all the ther others fighters u mentioned....they dont make excuses..PEOPLE do juss because they refuse to accept that they're favourite fighter lost becuase his opponent was better or more skilled..... Tito is different cus people dont make excuses for him, he does, but thats juss who he is and he like being that, the bad boy of the sport, he likes the spotlight and i say let him have it...................

gonzaga more skilled than cro cop?
serra more skilled than gsp?

i think the point deduction was great.. think about what happened when rashad took down tito at the end of the third... why didn't that happen in round two?? oh yeah, because tito held himself up using the cage. exactly why the deduction was necessary.

Hmm...plenty of excuses there. That "recurring back injury" will come in handy for him in future, I guess! Next time he gives another lame performance- "Gee, my old back was killing me!"

Tito had better be in those mountains the whole time between fights or Rashad has him. Rashad is in his prime and his boxing method out do Tito's by far. Anyones fight though since the UFC judges favor Tito (look @ the Forrest Griffin fight).

Nubby u really annoy me. Not because ur right or wrong.... but because ur just like tito, u have a big mouth.

Herb, I don't really care. Great first post by the way.

DevonFoxy » Posted 6/27/07 1:57:00PM

Nubby how dare you stick up for one of your favorite fighters! why would you do such a thing! I can't believe this! I don't like you at all!

Nubby, I agree with you that Tito is a great fighter, but the actions that he partakes in outside of the ring are not only dishonorable to himself but to the UFC as a whole. Thats why I agree 100% with Herb and Hughssucks.

I don't see Hughssucks on here?!?!

It so funny how when some one voices there opinion other people disagree to the point to wish death upon that person. How sad.

nubby » Posted 3/26/07 5:54:00PM

It is sad but I'm not too worried I'm sure he will be banned soon enough.

krunkkongdaddy » Posted 6/27/07 9:47:00PM

My only argument is that a UFC fighter needs to establish himself both inside and outside the ring, not only with a victory, but with integrity and respect for his opponents, his fans, and Dana White and the other people who make these fights possible. Tito Ortiz is a great fighter, but does express the qualities that a real fighter should. I apologize for my comment earlier, but if you have such a problem with it, lets look at the comment your boy Tito made about Rashad before they fought. If I am not mistaken didn't Tito say he would make him " his nappy headed ho"???? Just because hes your favorite fighter and he's very good, doesn't give him the excuse to act the way he does. As for my previous comment you can see that it has been edited so I hope there are no more problems with that. But please think twice when you fully support someone that acts dishonorably.
