Was told this was being fixed. Hasn't been yet.

We are getting closer and closer to next event and I am wondering if anyone has been working on the issue.

Thanks

There's no issue to be fixed.

As per the "Instructions/Info" box you can open near the top of the pick'em page:

Underdog bonus: When you pick a heavy underdog (selected by <20% of league players) that wins their fight, you will receive a +2 point bonus in addition to scoring points on a bout that few others did.

The fight in question had 463 picks for Noke, 116 for Nakamura, which is 20.03% for Nakamura, therefore not less than 20%, thus no underdog bonus points awarded.

Okay that makes sense

However then why did the fight companion along with when making picks it said underdog for Nakamura??

And then on top of that point was told by another mod that the points WOULD be added.

Is my assumption that a LCL and an UCL are being used to tell the "program" when the "underdog" status will appear underneath a fighter choice ?? Because I know y'all don't do that manually.

Please make me/us understand

The pick percentage totals displayed on the front-end of the site for any event which isn't locked out are calculated and stored by a job that runs every hour, as doing it on the fly for every page load is too resource intensive to do when the corresponding database tables have millions of rows in them.

The only error here is that the aforementioned job needed to be set to run for events even after the lockout so that whatever window of time between the lockout and job running again properly displays the exact final totals on the front-end of the site. In this case, in the last hour of being able to make picks Nakamura moved to >= 20%.

The post-event statistics procedure has always used the raw table data rather than any pre-calculated display values, thus the stats results are correct. There won't be any points added.
