LAS VEGAS – UFC featherweight champ Jose Aldo‘s injury won’t keep him from a rematch with No. 1 contender Chad Mendes (16-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) for long, UFC President Dana White said tonight following The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale.

Will happen in Oct Brazil.

What happens with 176.

I think Edgar vs Swanson could happen

Or souza vs mousasi as main event.
Add derrick lewis vs mirtione to ppv
And a Co main of Tim kennedy vs either yoel romero or Luke rockhold

Edgar vs Faber is PPV Headline worthy, they should see if those guys are interested.

Does Faber care which weight class he is in anymore or is he willing to bounce around for big names? I like the fight but I don't know how well it would sell without a very nice main card.

I think it could work.

I think Faber would be cool with a 145 fight against a top guy like Edgar. Both just fought and won on cable tv this weekend, that means their performances could be fresh on people mind still going into a fight 4 weeks away. They both finished in Fox Sports 1 headliners. They both are pretty decent names for the UFC, not many of those left or feasibly available. They are both elite competitors, cream of the crop level. They are both company guys imo, would do it to help out if asked possibly, at least if it was made worth their while financially (as in $$$,$$$.¢¢) I think it could sell as good as Aldo vs Mendes if they were able to book it.
