You guys are crazy. Pettis will wreck Thomson

THIS.

Chalk it up as Pettis' first title defense. Still should be a good fight. Pettis via KO round 2. Can't wait to see this on free tv!

Grant isn't cleared yet to start training but he was gunning for a February return. So this gives Grant a bit more time and pending on how this turns out, Grant vs Champion in April

I think Thomson is better than Pettis in every facet of MMA.

People writing off Thomson like he already lost need to step back. This is a good match. Thomson is much better striker than anyone Pettis has faced in recent years, probably has the best wrestling he's seen since Guida or Roller. Josh isn't new, he'll bring a winning strategy and be live for the upset. Mr. "Nobody knows who he is" would of beat Bendo last month also.

I'm a little surprised by the Thompson talk too. You'd think after his trilogy with Gil he'd get a little more respect.

I think Pettis is probably the best striker at LW but I'd put Thompson right up there too. It should make for an excellent fight. Better than Grant v Pettis IMO.

Off topic: anyone else think its hilarious Pettis said if Funky dropped to 155 he'd leave the division yet no one wants to offer Funky Ben a contract? Bizarro world type shit.

It pretty funny all these cats thinking Pettis is just going to handle Josh. I could very well see Josh winning in every aspect. Either way won't be long till El Nino gets what's rightfully his!
