The way it normally works in the fight business, the person who gets knocked out shows up at the press conference later, trying to convince the promoter, the media and the fans that he deserves a rematch.

Not the other way around.

But then, there was nothing normal about the main event of UFC 162 in Las Vegas, so why should the immediate aftermath be different?

As well as he should hold the cards. Dude hasn't lost since 2006. Rematch needs to happen and silva needs to take it seriously...I see a different outcome

your right i see a decision for weidman in the rematch

I see Weidman taking it the ground and smashing Anderson's face like the first round, and he won't be going for any leg submissions this time. 3 rounds of that Brutal GnP and I think Anderson goes out again.
