My initial thought is to critique each of your picks and say why they should or shouldn't be your favorites(so stupid). This is when I realize I need to be in the "I'm Drunk" thread.

BTW Shawn gets bonus points for Don Mattingly, my favorite player ever, and Outlaw for naming Brewers because that's just smart.

Also BTW, I can't argue with anything Bo said so he will get a pass for wrong answers because his reasoning is sound and well thought out. But why no Twins?????

'

Besides Mauer, who really is there? Cant stand Puckett. Not really a Carew fan. Maybe Harmon thats about it

I would think that Kent Hrbek, Frank Viola, Burt Blyleven, Gary Gaetti, Torii Hunter, Justin Morneau, and maybe even hometown guys like Jack Morris and Paul Molitor that played there briefly might be on a MN guy's list. Clearly not on a guy like Bo's list, but I would guess at least a few of those names would appear on a Twins fan's list.

Let me just say, my mind is blown apart by seeing Barry Bonds on multiple lists.

My list has some Cardinals (the team I was raised to adore) and Mariners love (my city)

1.) Ken Griffey Jr.
2.) Albert Pujols
3.) Bob Gibson
4.) Bo Jackson
5.) Ichiro
6.) Nolan Ryan
7.) Randy Johnson
8.) Carlos Beltran
9.) John Olerud
10.) Jim Edmonds

Personality aside, it's hard to argue against Bonds being one of the greatest of all-time. I don't think it's surprising at all really.

We're saying 10 favorite though, not 10 best. Personality plays a large part in that, and I think he was the least personable athlete of all-time.

I can honestly say that personality plays zero role in choosing my favorites. My favorites are decided by how much I enjoy watching them play.

Id have to agree. Ty Cobb is at the top of my list and that guy, was by all accounts a big piece of shit. But the heart and determination not to fail, plus his skills make him my fav.

I had him on there and realized I had too many Mariners and swapped him out, haha.. just a quick list, I'm sure it'd look different if I put some thought into it.
