A fight 10 years in the making is on the verge of finally happening this summer in England. Ian Freeman and Ken Shamrock, two pioneering figures in mixed martial arts, have agreed to fight for Ultimate Cage Fighting Championships on July 27 in Doncaster.

If the reason that Ken continues to fight is financial, can we pass the hat around and put an end to this career?

Shamrock should just throw in the towel
I doubt this fight ever happens

Dana already said a win over Freeman could put him on a fast track back to the UFC. Shamrock v Bones super fight anyone?

I also heard they are close to signing Fedor.

Freeman was 7-1 Between 2003-2008 when he retired.
Shamrock was 3-7 Between 2004-2010 when he retired.

Despite the fact I hate to see Shamrock seemingly fighting for money the fight does interest me....

Never pick against a Russian, currently 32-11 (74%) in the UFC since 2012. #DoItForWatson
