Robbie Lawler signs new multi-fight UFC contract   [View Full Version]
Budgellism » Posted 4/8/07 11:45:00AM

The UFC is investing in Robbie Lawler's second run at 170 pounds.

Lawler's manager, Monte Cox, today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that the promotion has signed the fighter to a new multi-fight agreement following his first-round knockout of Josh Koshcheck at this past weekend's UFC 157 event.

Cox declined comment on the terms of the agreement. Lawler (20-9 MMA, 5-3 UFC) currently is awaiting his next fight.

I like it. He took out a guy that was a top 10 guy for a long time.

Good for Robbie. I thought he was on his way out, and maybe fighting for smaller organizations.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

Always a huge Lawler fan I'm glad he's still around and will fight a couple more times in the big show

Robbies always a fun fighter to watch--so really glad he's going to be sticking around. Wouldn't mind seeing him against Tarec Saffiedine or the winner of Gomi/Sanchez next.

"Reborn" Robbie Lawler

I don't see a lot of fellas @ 170 calling him out anytime soon.....they will call out Koscheck instead.
