The highly-anticipated Rory MacDonald vs. Carlos Condit rematch is off.
According to multiple sources close to the fight, MacDonald suffered an undisclosed injury in training recently, which has forced the young Canadian fighter to withdraw from his fight against Condit at UFC 158.
No opponent has been signed to replace MacDonald against Condit next month. As of now, he is still expected to compete on the card...

I guess Tarec turned it down and Hendricks stepped up. I like that Hendricks is doing that, it's risky, but it shows he's a company man.

I love this. If Hendricks-condit has already been made though, perhaps Maia could step in against ellenberger. Having already handled Kim, story (who beat ellenberger outside the ufc) and fitch, maia has proven himself against wrestlers at 170. Ellenberger has lots of power though, and on less than a month, that is pretty short notice for such a tough fight.
