Today Chris Kyle was killed along with another man at a Texas gun range. He wrote "American Sniper" and was truly an American hero and inspiration. He was the most decorated sniper in American history with the most confirmed kills. this is a tragedy on so many levels. sorry to bring some bad news to the PG but Chris Kyle deserves to be recognized and remembered.

"Kyle, 39, served four tours in Iraq and was awarded two Silver Stars, five Bronze Stars with Valor, two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, and one Navy and Marine Corps Commendation.

From 1999 to 2009, Kyle recorded more than 150 sniper kills, the most in U.S. military history.

After leaving combat duty, became chief instructor training Naval Special Warfare Sniper and Counter-Sniper teams, and he authored the Naval Special Warfare Sniper Doctrine, the first Navy SEAL sniper manual. He left the Navy in 2009. "

I read his book and it is absolutely incredible what he accomplished and the amount of fellow military members that he saved.

What a shame. Amazing what he accomplished, and so giving to his fellow veterans afterwards.
