I used to bee a pretty big fan of Sonnen from the first Filho fight until the Marquardt shit talk.....
Also when I first started watching MMA in 05 I was a UFC fanboy and would not have anything to do with Pride
- Matt Hughes was my favourite fighter for several years.
- My first post on this site insinuated that Dan Henderson was a jerk
- Despite being Canadian, I've only cheered for GSP once in his career and that was against Koscheck.
- I've only met a handful of fighters
Not mma related:
- I don't watch Hockey or particularly enjoy it

To the point I won't even watch baseball or football tv anymore.
Come this super bowl weekend I will be working during the game in order for me to fly to Vegas the day before for 156
And when I go to the live events I enjoy mocking and making fun of the newbie fans

I was at FN25 weigh ins collecting autographs in my program. I was so drunk, i asked my friends to tell me who was coming out so i'd have the page ready. One of my friends says, Hey get Court's page ready here he comes. He knew it was Jake Ellenberger, but was checking to see how drunk i was.
Jake is walking up, & i have the program open to Court's page asking for an autograph & drunkenly saying "When did you shave the beard Court?"
He politely grabbed my program, turned it to the correct page & signed it.
I was so embarrassed & still am. Funny as hell though. Always will remember how nice he was bc he couldve easily just ignored me & moved on.

lol it sucked worse bc we were there cheering for HIM. We were 8 of what seemed like 50 out of the few thousand at the event cheering against Shields. When Ellenberger won, the crowd went almost silent, bc they were mostly there to see Shields..
I like to think that I helped him win. He was probably like "These people don't even know who I am? I am going to make them remember me tomorrow night."
And the rest is history........
