World Series of Fighting has some work to do before it draws the types of ratings the UFC formerly did.

WSOF 1 took place this past weekend on NBC Sports Network cable channel previously known as Versus during the UFC's six-event run from 2010-2011.

WSOF 1, the upstart organization's debut event, averaged 197,000 viewers, MMAjunkie.com today confirmed with industry sources

For such a small org on first run not bad at all, especially on a fucking 1030 time slot.

Did anybody see it? I missed it. Was the production good? Commentating? Fights?

It was ok, the ring announcer just tried way to hard. commentating was bad ass and fights was decent. Very pleasurable experience throughout other than the first 20 mins when the screen kept popping in and out like a damn speaker.

197,000 viewers is a very respectable starting point for WSOF.

They seem to be paying the fighters fairly aswell. Great start from Ray Sefo and his team
