Posted 5/31/07 3:28:00PM I know that the interaction between the two of them should be, well, "drama filled" but I would hate to be a contestant who was trying to further my fighting career on that show and find out one of them was my coach. They both strike me as ego-centric and I expect that they will be paying more attention to each other than to the team they assemble. Chael's style is very one-dimensional and Jones' style is one that would only work for someone with a unique body type and athleticism. Is there even a point in having them pretend to coach? |

Posted 12/26/11 6:25:00PM It will be the funniest without a doubt. Chael does smack talk but most of the time it is freeking hilarious !!

Posted 10/20/09 3:33:00PM you do know they bring in a set of coaches right? It's not just them coaching all 8 fighters alone I'd think either guy would do a better job than Shamrock and Rampage though...and even Nelson to an extent. I didn't watch the Lesnar/JDS season so Brock could have been bad too _______________________________________ |

Posted 3/28/11 6:57:00PM Jones will take the GSP coaching route and allow his coaches to coach the fighters. Jones is too young and doesn't have enough knowledge to teach the fighters and Jones knows that. Sonnen will be the most entertaining coach on TUF, I will tune in just for the smash talk. Love or hate him, you just can't deny his trash talk is on a whole different level then any other fighter in this generation. |

Posted 5/25/10 12:40:00PM I know filming hasn't begun yet, but, rumor has it that Jay-Jay is going to buy his "Team" a case of Old English upon entry into the house as a "House Warming" gift.....again, rumor has it. |

i agree with this, cheal has been around the block. i think he will be a really good coach. JJ on the other hand will probably be as bad as cheal is good |

I'd say a tie between him and Rampage. Rampage was just horrible as a coach, but was funny with the shit talking. |

You needed subtitles to understand what was coming out of his mouth. Chael is on a whole another level.

Posted 10/18/12 4:21:00PM 2 things: 1) I think this will be a good season for coaching. With Bones, you get Greg Jackson. Dana might hate him, but he's a great gameplanner and very few will argue that fighters are better off for having trained with him. With Chael, he's a character for sure, but he also is the type to care about the fighters. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a coach much like Tito was the first time around on TUF. We'll see a side of him we haven't seen before. 2) I heard the same rumors about New Jersey, and it surprises me. The venues in Atlantic City are good but not the biggest they can use. It makes me wonder if they plan on doing the show in Met Life stadium? |

Roy Nelson has been the worst by far in my opinion. |
