Posted 3/20/07 3:54:00PM The tumor in the head of Choi Hong Man, (26) nicknamed the “Techno Goliath,” has sparked a controversy. Choi was supposed to fight Brock Lesnar (30, USA), a WWE wrestler–turned-K1 fighter at the K-1: Dynamite USA championship that was due to be held at the Los Angeles Coliseum on June 2. However, Choi was denied a license for medical reasons by the California Athletic Commission after it found a tumor in his head. They also found blood stains on it. LINK (I had always heard his size was not related to any gigantism... Take this for what its worth...) |

Posted 1/24/07 8:41:00PM Yeah, it can be caused by a tumor on the patuitary(sp?) gland, but some people are natural "giants". Theres a dude named Angus McAskill who was 7'9" and almost 500lbs, and was totally natural. Fun fact: A shipload of French sailors made fun of him once, as he worked on a dock unloading ships, so he picked up their 2200lb anchor and walked away with it. Another time, someone made fun of him, so he asked to shake the mans had, and squeezed until blood came out of the guys fingers.
