Posted 3/24/07 5:29:00PM "Well, I'm not sure I should go there now," said Jones. "Basically, I believe that if you're healthy enough to play a sport, you shouldn't take any performance enhancing drugs or anything or testosterone. Fighters make a lot of money in their 20s, they make a lot of money in their 30s, and then when you get in your 40s, unfortunately, you're in your 40s. When you're looking to stay in the game, I don't I think you should take a drug that gives you the strength of a 30-year-old again. "That's like me saying, oh, I'm not as fast-twitch as I was when I was 20, let me take something to be 20 again. I think things like TRT, and steroids are things should be for the normal people who really need it and not athletes. I think if you're an athlete you're an athlete, you shouldn't use anything for enhancement." Full Story |

Posted 1/24/07 7:00:00PM Jones is being ignorant. His analogies are not used correctly. TRT doesnt work the way he THINKS it does. Do your homework Jones before blasting somebody that's been in the game more then half your life This guy irks me to no end. And yet I cannot deny his talent

Posted 8/23/07 8:14:00AM Hendo has made it public that he has been on TRT for well over a decade (and has Always tested below the legal limit) I personaly don't have a stance ethier way on the matter, but I don't agree with people saying his recent wins are because he started taken TRT, when he has been taking it the same for over 10 years. Everyone of Hendo's losses have come in that time frame. |

Posted 1/15/07 11:05:00AM I would think a DUI and crashing a Bentley would be much worse than TRT, but hey what do I know. |

Posted 7/4/07 4:41:00AM At least Jones is talking about Hendo and not everything else Like I said before, I have no problem if the TRT use is monitored by a Dr. and the levels are normal _______________________________________ |

Posted 10/7/08 5:39:00PM Its seldom I agree with anything Jones says but on this subject I believe he is 100 percent correct. That's the nature of this business, people get old and can't compete so is "leveling the playing field" fair to the BJ's and Jones' of the world? If you use trt, your cheating period, end of story. When does this stop? If I get in a cart accident and need a metal rod inserted in my arm, am I allowed to get in the cage and club people with my arm??? |

Posted 6/26/07 10:37:00PMYes you do, plenty of fighters have metal rods in their bones. A lot of guys break arms and legs in this sport, do you think Cory Hill and Frank Mir have an unfair advantage? |

Agree with macho. It isn't like they're wolverine or colossus, if anything the metal hampers them. Though metal is obviously stronger and harder, it is implanted to reinforce what has been broken...it probably won't be as strong as the original bone was on it's own. Until someone gets something like Kimbo Slice's golden fist actually grafted onto their wrist, it won't be an advantage. |

No its not cheating there is no rules agianst TTR use as long as your levels are at proper levels. Until the rules say all TTR use is illegal then you my friend are wrong its playing by the rules. |
