Dolphins believe OT Jake Long sprained his medial collateral ligament during Monday practice. He's getting an MRI to determine exact damage.

I still can't believe that. I mean, maybe Vince is a shot player, but Tavaris has never been able to play as far as I'm concerned. Maybe salary came into play here? Otherwise I don't get it.

probably because Vince looked like complete poop during the preseason. I wouldn't know, I don't watch any preseason of any sport, but by all accounts he was terrible. Young was signed pretty cheaply iirc so I doubt it was a salary dump

Salary wasn't the reason, the Bills will end up paying like 500k more on the 1yr deal with Jackson than they would have with Young. Young was just that bad, and still had trouble learning the playbook.
