That's it, I'm done bad mouthing Askren.

Based on the time stamp, I'd say it was following the Ring/McGee fight.

It was about the Jordan-Kongo fight. I meant to post some of his comments last night. He had me rolling.

For him to use that on any fight is

emfleek » Posted 11/18/07 4:54:00PM

That's possibly the best Tweet I've ever read.

He said this about Kongo-Jordan to someone that tweeted at him.

Ben Askren @Benaskren @MC_Sadist if you were referring to the fight that just happened there was no good wrestling of any kind there

I'm actually glad you said that...it just made me realize that I have the wrong timezone set for Twitter. Fixed.

I doubt there is anything worse than a Ben Askren fight. Maybe a Cambodian toddler knife fight, but that's just worse for different reasons.

It MUST be Cambodian though.

Hell yeah, there is far less regulation in the Cambodian toddler knife fight circuit compared to it's US equivalent.

At least he finally realizes his fights are boring. Nice to see him take a shot at himself.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

I like watching Askren.

His creativity and scrambles are always fun for me. Plus, he often winds up in dangerous positions which make the fight more exciting.
IMO, he is like Jon Fitch... except Askren is bad enough at MMA to still get caught in precarious situations.

I get why so many dislike Askren's style though.
