Claude Patrick will take on James Head UFC 149 in Calgary [View Full Version]

Another Canadian has been added to UFC 149 in Calgary as Toronto's Claude Patrick will take on James Head in a welterweight bout.

The UFC told Sportsnet Tuesday that verbal agreements were in place for the fight, which will appear on the undercard of the July 21 event at the Scotiabank Saddledome, the UFC's first show in Alberta.

Patrick (14-2) is coming off a controversial split-decision loss to Brian Ebersole at UFC 140 in Toronto in December. The defeat snapped a 13-fight win streak, including his first three appearance in the Octagon

Never really been a big fan of Head (lmao). But he looked good in his last fight, although Patrick is very underrated. I see a UD for Claude in this fight

Still hard to believe that Patrick got knocked out by Drew Mcfedries years ago. Patrick by unanimous decision.

Let's be realistic, Head is gonna murder Patrick in this one.

I think Patricks a great fighter he put on a good show and was engaged in a very stalemate fight with Ebersole, but James Head is James Head.
